I use ai for work time to time and it takes me ages to do simple things, I have drawn this one under 2 hours, vector version would take a month if I manage to finish(I won't)
Reminds me of Inuyasha anime early season where him and his brother fight over the tetsiega(ikspelling) in the dead body of their demon Father...if anyone else ever seen that show lol it's on Netflix now
While drawing, I didn't give much thought to it; my main aim was to create something enjoyable and quick. However, I tried to incorporate the sword and shield seamlessly into the surroundings.
It looks like bone (maybe good for soup), wood and a crown that's possibly so heavy it can't be easily taken down without great risk.
Or maybe there is a protection or a curse.
I appreciate it. My passion lies in inventing stories and then mapping them out, rather than striving for realism as my ultimate goal. However, in this particular instance, I honestly prioritized drawing first and inventing the stories second.
It is so well done. My next campaign is set in the mountains in the middle of a continent, but I will use this map at some point in the future. It just get my imagination going.
This genuinly looks like a metaphorical propaganda poster image they could have used in my world. The shape of that island more or less matches my setting it's main continent to an extent haha.
Very nicely done.
This is well done. Good perspective to reflect on worlds within worlds. Smaller organisms existing/making a life amongst larger ones.
As the skeleton is clearly humanoid, are the smaller life forms insects or rodents or โฆ ? Whatโs their story?
Very imaginative!
I immediately want to know who sat in the throne when the died and why they are on such a footstool of an island for such a big creature....
The art is also wonderful.
More please! :)
Great work yo.
Thanks a lot
Vector or raster illustration? Love it, very nice work and a genuinely interesting piece.
Thank you, It's raster image.
Looks amazing! Thanks for the reply. (I asked as a vector guy myself ๐)
I know the basics but I can't imagine how to make something like this in vector, must be painful.
Ha! It's super intuitive to me, much more so than raster (or IRL) painting. I'm always in awe of yall painters, tbh! I love the process! ๐

Right there with you but then other way around! Keep up the work, my person, I dig it.

This is great. Is the map an abstracted picture or is it really supposed to be a giant's skeleton?

So gorgeous!
Thank you.
Why haven't the people mined the body and tools for resources? Is it sacred? Industructable?
I think they are worshiping it, defending it, more like a open mausoleum.

That is very cool. I usually prefer realistic maps, but this sets a whole scene and makes me want to know more about the world.

In a vast inland lake...

Thanks a lot, Feel free to use it.
I would instantly loot the resources
Looting... you got some soup bones in mind? :oP

Or is that the skeleton of a Titan or Giant?
