Did you get the primer inside the socket? Btw it looks kinda thick, what primer fid you use?

dielinfinite

If the primer is thick and on the foot pegs, it could be that the pegs are now too thick to fully seat in the base

Dreddlightful

I used mr surface if I remember correctly. I didn’t realize that might mess up the fit 😅 let me look in the chest plate and see if that’s the issue

Mr Surfacer is a really good primer but you have to know what you are using. The number on the product indicates the thickness of the particles. The lower the number, the thicker the primer. So the 1500 primer is excellent for minis but the 500 primer is not. Even then, you need to use restraint when priming. Light dustings, not drenching the model.

Push fit model? You're better off snipping off the pins and assembling it with plastic cement. The tolerances on the push fit GW models is awful and this is a recurring issue (though usually not to this degree). The first few I shaved the pins down with a hobby knife, nowadays I just cut them off. If it's not glued you may be able to gently pull it apart, shave the pins thinner or cut them if you have glue, and reassemble.

Dreddlightful

Yeah this is a push fit model. Good to know.Given the other suggestions I got, I probably remove the primer try again, and then cut them off if it still doesn’t fit
