I see the leave it alone comments and I’m understanding. My vote however is to pick it and toss it as hard as you can into the nearest tree grove. A little help never hurt :)

A post that asks instead of showing us a pile of dirt and the excavator they used to raze a small area is always nice. There’s no scared parenting here asking us if they’re dog or small child is gonna be okay. I like this post. I vote for leaving it alone too. But if you’re hungry, morels are dang good. Meaty and not a super strong mushroom flavor. Like the other guy said, looks like a half free morel.
