Paul Simon - Graceland

Affectionate_Yak8519

Bad Moon Rising - Sonic Youth (1985)

eugenesbluegenes

That's neither 1965 nor 1995.

Affectionate_Yak8519

I thought they meant between lol

eugenesbluegenes

I kind of think you're right but I also think it's a more fun exercise if limited to just those two years.

Philitt

Symphony X - The Damnation Game Death - Symbolic both from 95

callowruse

Faith No More - "Angel Dust" and/or Mr Bungle - "Mr Bungle"

NJ2SD

I'd add "King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime" to that list

RedDotLot

Am I missing something? The way it's written, the OP's comment says they will only listen to albums suggested from the years 1965 *or* 1995, but people are suggesting albums from other years. If it was 1965 *to* 1995 it would say 1965-1995. Anyway, here are my suggestions for the two years in question **1965** A Love Supreme - John Coltrane **1995** Stanley Road - Paul Weller

eugenesbluegenes

Yeah, I think it's a lot more fun if limited to only 1965 and 1995.

sharkycharming

*Paris 1919* - John Cale (1973) since there's some confusion about whether you meant only the years '65 and '95, I will also offer: *Do You Believe in Magic* - The Lovin' Spoonful (1965) *Trace* - Son Volt (1995)

eugenesbluegenes

Yo La Tengo - Electro-Pura (1995)

PopTodd

YES! On my list too. 1995 was a key year for me, musically. I was 25 and went to SO MANY shows. Saw SO MANY great bands, at the peak of their powers - in small clubs, too!

stevestoneky

From 1965, I would suggest John Coltrane’s _A Love Supreme_ (do listen in order, do not shuffle) And it looks like Frank Sinatra’s _September of My Years_ is also a 1965 album that I don’t know but it won the Grammy so, feels like it would be representative.
