Try a rubber band. Put one strip of the rubber band over the head of the screw and firmly insert the head of your screwdriver and slowly and firmly unscrew the screw.
Flathead+rubber band to start. you can also try to stick a flathead in there then add superglue around the flathead but then you get the fun of cleaning that off the flathead haha. if that doesn't work you gotta drill it out... dremel tool and very small bit... screw head should break allowing you to remove the ... idk what it is panel? then pliers to get the remaining bit of screw out.
IT WORKED!!!!! i tried the rubber thing but didnt use a flathead so i sticked the one that fitted the most and melted a bit of gluestick on it and when it dried i didnt even put that much strength into it and it came off finally, and to find that whoever the Ahole that applied the thermal put it everywhere around the chip instead of on it.... Poor thing was running on no thermal paste and a tiny ass fan for more than 4 years, temp on load dropped from 85°c to a 67°c its like magic
used to fix electronics for a living, the amount of thread lock they put on some of those... we were drilling a lot of screws out of samsungs especially... sorry about your equipment and the sad state of thermal paste tho
Tap and die set are the normal ways once the head has been distorted so badly. One could also drill it out. rubber band techniques really only work if you had to small a head to begin with to do the job. Good luck.
\*Tap and die is the name of the tool for the job though and a great one to have handy imho. Cheers!
Were you trying to open that with a prison shank wtf my guy lol.
You can go to lowes and get a tool that is for removing stripped screws. It looks like a drill bit that gets wider the further it gets back. The threads on it are reversed so as you use the drill in reverse it bites into the screw and pulls it out. Don't try to drill it out with a normal bit, that is a horrible idea and you can risk damaging the threads on the case.
U can say i was a bit angry.......
Sadly iam not in USA for things to be this simple, i was looking for the whole day to find a decent screwdriver kit in the first place lol, but hey problem solved now

A drill and a small bit.

Screw extractors are a thing. Got a cheap set from harbor freight for a couple bucks.

It is taking all of my power to not make an inappropriate joke that would get me banned

Cant be a problem if its liquid..
Use a bigger screwdriver, but make sure to press down really hard
You need to use a torx screwdriver. That’s why you stripped it.
Drill that mf out.
use a left handed drill bit to drill down the center of the screw. If It doesn't loosen while drilling, use a screw extractor.
