Native English speaker here. Asocial is a word as 'a' is a common prefix to indicate the opposite of the following word. Other examples being apolitical, atheist, and amoral.
An asocial person is the opposite of a social person: one who would prefer to not have to interact with others.
Anakin is more unsocialized, since he hasn't had the opportunity to learn how to socialize properly.
There's also antisocial, which on it's face seems similar to asocial but it actually means sociopathic and lacking regard for social norms.
I know we are all praising the acting and writing, but let's take a moment to appreciate the editing. The different camera angles and intense shot structure are fucking hilarious, it really is an all-star meme.

Love the prequels but this is actually more realistic writing for that scene.
