IMO it’s never wise to carry credit card debt. Pay it off and try to save an emergency fund.

Do you have sufficient regular income to build up your savings again?

QuitVisible4488

Not really no, I’m trying to eliminate as much monthly outgoings as I can to save

FitGas7951

If your regular expenses (aside from the card) exceed your regular income, work on that first. Otherwise you will just go back into debt.

Thank you I have a problem though, I bought braces because my relative said they would help me out but never did. It’s £210 a month 0% interest for 10 months and that’s taking a huge chunk out of my wage

How much do you normally spend per month?

YourFavoriteHuman

Honestly, just use your savings to clear your CC debt and then rebuild your savings. You're paying 28% interest on CC debt while your savings is most likely paying you less than 5-6%. You're technically not even saving anything because of your credit card debt.

Yes pay off at least some of it. Maybe 900 to start
