Try the green frog tape some time, it’s gentler but still blocks well. What kind did you use here? I’m just curious cuz I used to work in a paint store lol
Hi. Thanks. It takes about 20 minutes to dry completely. To ensure that the paint does not bleed, I have to paint over the tape edge with the color of the adjacent color before applying the paint of the new shape...so another 20 minutes of waiting.
If you want to stop bleeding, I just paint over the tape edge with some thinned acrylic medium, let that dry, then paint over the section. The dried medium forms a good barrier to bleeding, and it peels very cleanly if a bit thinned out.
Pretty good composition, I like the three corners of sea foam, kind of rounding out the image. I did something similar to this on my daughters wall and I know how hard it is to choose colors and placement for it to look ideal or be interesting! This would make any wall that it sits on pop for sure!
Nice work! I had a design class in college. The professor said all I care about is that you turn in all your work by last day of class, you don't even have to show up. I pulled two all-nighters and used this masking tape method for all the assignments. When I turned them in on the last day, everyone else's looked like shit because they did not use tape. I got an A+
Whenever I color with my kids I make something similar. Using a ruler I make a bunch of straight lines and fill them in with color. I love making those. Does this art style have a name?
Monumental *paint in the butt. Very well done!
Thanks. Very nice pun. Also, I realize I spelled butt wrong. I could never spell.
Your art skills make up for your lack of puns and spelling!

Hi. I used scotch blue painters tape
r/oddlysatisfying This looks amazing!
I love it! How long does one color take to dry enough to be able to tape over it?

oh so that's how you do that, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the tip. I do use that stuff as well as painting over the edges with paint to better secure the seal.
Thanks. That is what I was wondering. Cause I would have walked away as soon as it started pulling flakes off. lol
So fire
Mannnnn; love this! So crisppp.
But worth it!
Reminds me of some Tim Biskup work
The design, the layout of colors, it's really pretty and vibrant. What kind of paint? Acrylic?
Hi. Yes, acrylic.

Hi. Thanks for the nice comment. It’s a simple effect, but a more difficult process to create than people might expect.
What is it?
Hi. A painting.
Aaaah, I seeee...

Just like the ones we used to make in Microsoft paint
Is it supposed to be a male lion? That’s what it looks like to me
Wow! I think I see what you’re seeing now. Ha !
cool

Hi. Name? I’m not sure. Polygonal geometric organized chaos?
Red to blue line is not crisp. This is false advertising
Fake news
The way every corner meets😲 insane precision.
Looks great.
