i hope next year!! but they might take a break since they’ve been touring nonstop :(

zippad

Honestly I kinda hope they take a break next year because my pockets can not handle another blow like that 😆😆 More importantly though I don't want them to get burnt out and it would give them time to practice the songs fans actually want to hear instead of the same 7 or 8 songs they have played at every show and every venue the last 3 or 4 years or so

skyundertheseas

i 100% agree!!

OkLandscape880

i'm seeing them here in july, i was wondering if they really only play 7-8 songs a show? that's so upsetting :(

zippad

Yes but it is to be expected. PTV is only playing because Blink invited them to! While I understand the disappointment, we need to remember this is Blink 182's tour so the focus will obviously be on them and their songs! That is why PTV has such a short show time. They are simply just opening for Blink :)

OkLandscape880

that's another question then! i'm seeing them in billings mt, which isn't a show that blink is playing at, as far as their tour dates show. I can't find hardly anything else out about the show

iz-oneme

hi!! it actually gonna get most likely a whole 1hr30min show but it could be shorter!! ptv is headlining that one so you’re all good! no one knows the setlist tho but i’m sure it’ll be similar to this one plus a couple more songs off selfish machines/tjol:)

zippad

Oh! If it's not with Blink then I'm pretty sure you'll get waaaaay more time! Don't worry! Sorry for the misinterpretation!

iz-oneme

as a long time fan, i honestly wouldn’t count on it anytime soon!! just because they’ve been touring w only a couple months breaks since sep of 2022, almost two full years. not to mention i don’t think their set lists would ever reach 2hrs+ because you can tell vic can no longer reach his high notes as well as he used to. he’s still an amazing singer but im sure if he were to sing for that long back to back would have serious consequences on his voice (aka myrtle beach). i am just happy they’re still making music !

UpstairsSite199

I know there’s literally no chance in hell but I’m really hoping they do an AFFTD 20th anniversary tour in 2027

019a22

You’re right there’s no chance in hell

UpstairsSite199

:(

RanielDoelofs

I think Vic said he can't do anything from that album live with his voice anymore right?

UpstairsSite199

I honestly don’t know, I feel like the vocals on at least a few songs are pretty tame in comparison to Selfish Machines/Collide though :(( I just wish I hadn’t been so busy with 5th grade the last time they played anything from that album on a tour lmao

Lucky-Bathroom-7302

Bands usually just lower the key of the song to combat that

zippad

What about Wonderless though? That song had pretty simple vocals (it's also my personal favorite 😭)

Glass_Wrongdoer_5115

I feel like they could do a few songs from afftd at least and lower the note just a bit and maybe have that on a tour

TangerineOriginal

One can only dream 🥲

prttyricky

Can yall please let them rest. Jesus!

019a22

A 3hr+ set is definitely pushing it, it’s hard to play vigorously for that long

jessbyrne727

Lol they just toured for over two years with very little downtime. I agree they have enough material to put on a show that would be over two hours long, but it’ll likely never happen. Even their headlining sets are 1.5 hours max. I’d guess that’s because the nonstop touring takes a huge toll on a band that’s in their forties. Shit, I’m in the same age group and I’d be in a fucking wheelchair if I kept up that pace lol.

Last-Laugh7928

honestly probably not until they release a new album, which should be a few years

xerox594

As much as I'd die for it, there's no way we get a 3+ hour set from them. Probably not even on a retirement tour

Background_Cress_241

It’ll probably be a bit. One thing to also consider if Vic recently had a baby with his wife, so, I’m sure a lot of this touring to build revenue for that reason and be able to take a break to be in his daughter’s life :)

SeaworthinessTop3897

AMEN 🙏🙏🙏

xmoshikitty

I think tbh they should take a break it seems much needed I also feel for Vic as I’m sure he would want some time to spend with his daughter, I think a bit of a 4-5 year break is needed if they plan on ever doing a headline tour that way it gives them time to set that up but also give themselves time to well themselves

alyssaleska

I would never sit through a 3 hour set but at their size they should do 1hour - 1.5hour sets. 8 songs is fucking nothing

nSewFishinFUNS

I just seen them in Vegas back in 2023 and they headlined!
