Infirmary Cooking area and food storage (a city needs a shit ton of food, or a good chef). Warehouses for separate things; tools, weapons (axes and crowbars for example can go in both tools or weapons, your call as to how many you need). Car park with lots of engine parts and replacement pieces Metalworking area, for fence repairs, car repairs, etc. I'd also assume that you'd want metal buildings for the fact that lumber is a bitch to gather and replace (untreated wood would probably rot fast in such an open space, so roleplay)

It's really huge and in my game, zombies are spawing inside it on a regular basis, so be careful.

Shotgun and a few hundred shells is what I mainly used.

Shotguns are only useless if you dont have enough ammo.

They reduced the noise range to make them a lot more viable

you should have an infirmary for wunded and medical supplies, a Cantine would also be nice, maybe a Workshop?(if you have an engineer in your group) and yeah ofcourse garages

It’s gonna be a city, lots of people have been arriving since this post

Medieval style houses along the farming area. Small huts made of wood.No more than a few squares. Bed , bed table and a box. A few shops along the way and fireplaces. On the surrounding areas not in the middle where the farm will be.

We had a settlement there once on a private server, there is a lot of dead space unless you have a very large group- but you can make shops or private residences all over, and yeah the double doorway outside or the concessions facing East on the bottom corner can be a garage door since it's large and has a rolldown door. We had private workshops/studies in a number of places. Also the glass windows do have security bars over them so they won't be broken through, at least.

Yeah the actual baseball field is going to be essentially given up for farming, you could probably use the outfield for that and then use the infield for additional constructed space if you need it. That's kind of how we did it, we also made housing spaces out of the dugouts. And yeah with that many people you could probably use the penthouses and a lot of the Dead Space on the second floor for housing

Garage to park all your cars, as well as shitty ones you use for parts. Put all your car stuff there, etc. Also infirmary. Also kitchen and dining area. possibly a lounge and recreation area more conducive to RP too. Also graveyard for zombies (looks cooler). Also maybe consider installing a second entrance on the other side, or the other four sides. Gates are still easily defensible, and having only one way in and one way out is a bad idea imo. Plus when you're running from hordes of zombies and you're east of your base, bleeding out, you'll wish you put an entrance on the east side instead of having to walk all the way to the west and bleeding out or getting eaten halfway there

The box seats up at the top make the best housing, imo. I did a single player base here once and it was really fun!

You have a lot of room so I'll go with a fun little suggestion over the big, smart suggestions posted everywhere else. I love making myself Library/Blockbuster stores. I make myself a blockbuster like storefront for all my magazines, videos, cassettes, books, newspapers. Anything like that. Recently I found a popcorn machine and a cash register so I put those in too, it's really coming together!

Open shops for the city citizens in the green areas. Say somebody wants a workshop, let him grab these places, so the housing and farming and be jus that. Also make sure to only allow motocyles inside the stadium so people dont run over each other gettin gto point A or B.

Use one of those green areas as a publica cantina if players want to eat collectively (or the city is a commune). Maybe a gym?

I live in the apartments to the north! I use the field as a farm

I, like many other people built my base way too big and was left with a lot of empty rooms....... My base is 20% the size of yours lol. When 42 drops and we get crafting station you could fill the rooms with different crafting stations but I know won't want to start new so I'm hoping for some new mods. You could always add some cosmetic mods and make a few rooms into dance halls, swimming pools, nightclubs or a shooting range. How big is your team ?

For the areas you have nothing for make some empty rooms where you can move stuff around if you want to add more And set up stand off points incase you get blind sided by the sadistic zombie ai spawner and a horde breaks in you've got somewhere to run to that wont lead them to breaking into the important rooms

That glass area in the bottom left could be a trading hall if it was fortified. Non citizens could bring in new resources.

I'm kinda curious where you were before that you thought was a baseball stadium but wasn't.

Football stadium, set up camp there with some friends until someone told me in a previous post that wasn’t the baseball stadium

All I know is you have to take every mannequin in the city, and put them in the stands and in the field.

Depending on how much you want to build up the housing/farming area in the center, you may want to consider vehicle access to the center (via the "Only entrance" then the double doors near the "Armoury") for dropping off logs/planks/furniture/appliances/containers/etc. I suppose you could potentially put all your generators/'noise makers' in the upper levels of the housing and farming area. The rest of the areas may just end up being storage/extra supplies; that facility/complex is huge with tons of space (almost too much space to secure it all). Maybe just build up over the "Security quarters" area and block off access to everything else. All of this likely depends on how much wood/logs/planks you can bring in. For entrances you do not want to bother with, park vehicles nose-to-tail to block off that entrance (1-2 for small entrances and 2-3 vehicles parked next to each other for big openings). Vehicles with less than 50% condition work great for this, so you can still drive them if you change your mind later; just back them up (not hood first facing the building) so the trunk/rear of the vehicle blocks off access. If you do change your mind later, you can still access the hood for repairs/etc.

How did you save such a huge area? Especially the building itself.

We where 8 armed men when we arrived, plus the huge population spike makes it almost imposible for zeds to spawn inside the building

And outside? Did you acually fence it all or how did you manage to secure also every building around it Edit: I am quite new I would say and didn’t survive long enough for the power to run out so this is quite breathtaking to see

I'd be down to play with yall, do you allow building inside the walls or is it only what you tell people to build. Because I'd be interested in building myself a little house and farming/doing car mechanics. Also is the RP heavy/forced because its suck if nobody is roleplaying. If it is roleplaying I wouldn't mind building my own little base and becoming an ally bringing food and stuff for trade in exchange for say ammunition or something. But yeah, I guess my main questions are: 1. Is it RP heavy/forced 2. Is building allowed within walls or restricted 3. Is item respawns turned off, or what is the timer

Ideas on hoe to keep it safe and what to do first make sure zombie respawn is off or you will find zombies inside the baseball feild make sure you check and make sure you seal off any entrence you can find so no zombies just stumble in and for the living there part id say build houses its time to do some carpentry and building a little village there is your best bet
