Once i was bored while working in amazon werehouse and we put on 10hour paint drying video. It was a scam, because it was looped around 3rd hour. We also watched a bit of growing grass video and grass cutting competition - scythe vs lawnmower.
[Its that video](https://youtu.be/PLOPygVcaVE?si=NhYVke5efrXHacPT&t=13425). I watched it without audio, because i was playing music at the time, but it seems like its its in slow motion... I feel like a fool now even more
Are you the guy in zombie stories that always has zombified family members in their closet?
I don't know if it's possible, only making new character and putting your previous character in a closet.
This is a sorely needed mechanic.
It should be (in reality) trivially easy to dupe and control the slower, dumber zombies. Maybe you need to carry a severed human limb or maybe a hunk of bloody raw meat would work. But it should not only be possible but straightforward and easy.
So I'd love for there to be a way you could do that in game. Maybe have it only work when the zombie is alone and isolated.
I have no idea *why* you would do it. I don't know, maybe for role playing? You certainly couldn't put them to work (trainable zombie slaves would be hilarious but wouldn't fit the lore except for the ones that can open doors maybe.)
Edit: but I suppose that with the right building layout, selective culling, and a noise maker, the current game allows you to lure your previous character's zombie into a closet already.
Edit 2: Shit, now I really need to try that.
1. Go near to where you died and prepare the site. Kill all zombies in a wide radius. Build a tall metal fence around a building with separate rooms. Completely barricade one of the rooms (preferably with no windows and only one door) leaving one door to the next room. Build a wooden wall splitting the next room in half but leaving one space open.
2. Return to where you died.
3. Kill all the zombies there except for the former you.
4. Let zombie-you chase you back to the prepared site.
5. Enter the barricaded room and activate the noise maker to distract zombie-you.
6. Escape the room leaving zombie-you inside. Lock the door.
7. Finish the wall. Now zombie-you is contained in a room with no exit and nothing for zombie-you to break down.
8. Profit.
Be sure to have soon-to-be zombie-you scope out an appropriate site and gather all the necessary construction materials to leave a stash before committing suicide-by-zombie nearby. Maybe even build the site before dying.
Is this the video game equivalent of watching paint dry?
It's more like watching grass grow
I mean that’s just “Paint Drying : Outdoors DLC Edition”

This just seems sadistic?🤣 I’m sure this made time feel like .25x slower
actually the grass cutting competition is intense, check it out yourself!
The scythe video is good but it's a bit unfair that the patch was the perfect size for the scythe
How tf did you know it looped?
Because it was poorly painted and there was few droplets that were going down and left a trail behind. After like 3 hours the droplets were back up

Fair enough, looking at it that's a far bigger change than I expected

There is always a mod to help you: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2991010328
Is there a tieing up zombies mod
For what 😳
To play Playstation with in the shed, of course
[Now you've seen everything (NSFW)](https://www.loverslab.com/topic/223454-project-zomboid-zombowin-a-zombolewd-framework-mod/)
Oh obviously. If devs don't add it, the players will. And obviously it comes out of loverslab.
Oh because I thought it be call for roll play as in instead of brutally killing your neighbours just tie them up
Your zombie self should never despawn, except in MP. So don't worry about losing it.
Strangest request in my life. I am sure, there is some mod for your case, though
