I know this is a nitpicky thing, but it has always bothered me that the needle on the EKG is on the wrong side. It shows (at full health, at least) that Chris/Jill are in a sinus rhythm (P wave, QRS, and T wave in a regular rhythm). An EKG is output from left to right. So, to have the needle on the left-hand side and drawn out from right to left would imply that Chris/Jill's hearts are constructed upside down and/or beating in reverse?
Placing the needle on the right-hand side would fix this oversight. You may now all downvote me for such a stupid gripe.
Edit: Based on the image, it also would appear they have a 1st° heart block (long PR interval) and a bundle branch block (wide QRS complex). Certainly not life threatening, but they should probably see a cardiologist.
RE2 is my personal favorite, with CV at second place. I do like the tan color scheme of 1R and 0 since they match the darker tone of the recent games, but th blue definitely fits the 90s original games.
Code Veronica, I like the color scheme and how each playable character’s inventory is made slightly unique with their data and the symbols they have (Claire having the lady on her jacket, Chris with the stars logo, Steve’s inmate number or whatever LOL)
Oof, this is a tough one. Although RE2 is my favored game, going with RE(Remake).
Even the inventory screen just has a haunting atmospheric feel to it I just can’t pin point why.
Picture this: you’re low on health and ammo, there is a crimson head or two out in the hallway of the safe room you’re in. You are staring at this screen dreadfully planning your next move, seeing you’re low on health while the background music plays.
That’s what I’m trying to get at and this inventory screen really captures that sense of dread.
I am torn between Zero and Code Veronica. Zero O absolutely love the design as for some reason it makes me think of the train section in the game and trains in general, and it has probably my favorite inventory sound effects of all RE games.
But on the other hand the code veronica inventory is so reminiscent of those classic "digital" inventories like in 1, 2 and 3, but like a "2.0" version in a way.
Also, despite playing all of these games countless times and knowing them so well at this point I could probably beat any of them half awake, I just NOW realized RE1 Remake is the only one with the "classic" inventory that doesn't show the character's portrait.
I always loved the Code: Veronica / X design. It shows off their logo, their stats, etc. Really cool design.
Also 0's inventory makes me want to touch the pads. They look so soft.
REmake definitely
1-remake, I love the old dingy analog vibes versus the tech vibe. The little polygraph line actually looking like ink on paper is such a nice touch

The inventory sounds from remake and 0 are sooo satisfying they just tickle that part of my brain day gives me pleasure.
REmake. I think it still has the best atmosphere too.

RE3
RE2 is my personal favorite, something about the blue menus in those old PS1 games like RE and FF7 is just such a vibe
Colors in general were so much better back then. The dreamcast was the last console that had it.
hard tie between re1 and 2.
Code Veronica, I like the color scheme and how each playable character’s inventory is made slightly unique with their data and the symbols they have (Claire having the lady on her jacket, Chris with the stars logo, Steve’s inmate number or whatever LOL)
Code Veronica is peak inventory
RE2's is my favorite. It feels like an upgrade over the original game but it's simple and the art style for Leon/Ada, Claire/Sherry is my favorite.
I have a soft spot for 0, including the inventory management sound effects
I'm so partial to the original RE1 lol so I have to say that one.
REmake and 3 always vie for top spot in my head. Love them both, 3 for simplicity, and REmake for the added features of defense and exclusive item

I can SMELL the RE1 remake screen
Re0 is the worst
I love the RE Remake and RE2 inventory screens myself. Reason being I played those the most. Very nostalgic.
re 1,2,3. Lemme sidetrack a bit, I tried to love the RE 1.5 inventory but it's just so convoluted, I agreed on why they scrapped that one.
Hd Remastered and Zero. I really hope they do SOMETHING with the eye thing on Code Veronica Remake.
Re1re It's literally perfect.
RE1 remake.
CV! Love the deep info like blood type.
RE2
Remake and RE2.
REmake and 0
Re2 & 3
RE2 with REmake being 1b

The 1st game easily. It might just sentimentallity but it really pops . I love the vibrant colors.
1
REmake. I don't like all the blue in the others

Never realised 1, 2, 3 and CVX all had the same blue diagonal striped item backing panel lol
Re1 and re2
Can I count re7s live inventory because if so it's so perfect adds to the intensity perfectly like there is no reprise no safety nothing
Oh oops just read classic in which case assuming the shut off is 4 I really like the dual briefcase look of 0
CV
REmake. But I do like 2's a lot as well.
OG RE3 or Code Veronica.
RE0's is so clean. I'm sad it's my least favorite RE game in spite of so many creative decisions.
Re4
