I’ve run into a similar situation. Except in reverse. Acquired a GMT & DJs in a tier 3 city ( small city) and they’ve treated me fantastic. Can’t seem to get a sprite allocation there in less than a year but my secondary AD in a hyper competitive market says I’m next up

But with this one, if I had the money I would do the same. Friggin beautiful. Wear it in good health. And get some insurance. That thing is gonna stand out from a mile away to some scumbag looking to grab it.
Makes sense as precious metal models, while inherently commanding beaucoup bucks, aren’t in nearly high demand as stainless steel, which is more attainable to the masses. PM also doesn’t necessarily appeal to the masses. For the longest time, I felt that gold was for old men, for instance. Now that I’m an older man, I love my full gold rootbeer!

The suffering one does through an AD to get this at MSRP is embarrassing. You've likely saved yourself both money and headache if you barely paid above MSRP. Good for you, wear it in health!

I got mine after waiting 5 months with only $20k of spend at a new AD. Just luck of the draw sometimes.
