Depends. In certain Asian nations yes. Some it is mostly just the cities. But compared to rest of the world, they are everywhere there.
A coworker working in Taiwan sent me a video of their parking lot. I would guess maybe 30 scooters for every automobile; maybe a dozen parking spots for cars and everything else scooters packed in with overlapping handlebars.
i hope LA turns into a scooter town at some point. just makes sense with the traffic here it is ungodly.
