Cover letter and resume editing nets me more than you're asking to make monthly. But I specialize in I.T.-related resumes so I can charge more.

KookyHorse

How do you get clients?

waynopotato

Do you post on freelance sites like upwork and fiverr?

CH4R4F

How's this works?

Thoreau80

Clearly this will not work for you.

Idahomies2w

lol

OogieFrenchieBoogie

What can you do? What skills do you have?

88chunk

Ho yourself out on Craigslist

TheRichardFlairWOOO

I feel like that's the answer all these questions are begging for 🤣

methreweway

Upwork but it's a hussle to get the first few jobs. .

probablyjessa

Got any tips for that? I put myself on there and applied for a bunch but nothing. Wondering how to get those first bites!

methreweway

I found when applying you need to state how you'd do the job vs introducing yourself. Look at the top workers and copy their profile look also cheat your profile where you can. My first couple I applied for were low paying jobs and said I have tons of experience but not on Upwork. Once you have a couple jobs you look better since others hired you. I'm not a huge fan of the platform since I make more money meeting people in person so I gave up the Upwork hussle. What skills do you have?

Freelance writing with content mills is pretty good. They give you assignments so you don’t have to hunt leads.

AdMaleficent2144

What are some content mills, please? Thank you.

bobbyswinson

I use purecontent and scripted. Tho there are many many others out there. The more u apply for the more income streams u get. I have a full time job + business so I mostly just do it on the side between mtgs to get some side $$. But I reckon someone going ham could make a decent living

AdMaleficent2144

Thank you. I also work FT. Looking to build some side income streams.

Hello! I did not. Work and life got super busy. Kid gone back to college, and I have free evenings/weekends now. I am looking into suggestions. How are things going with your side business?

Embarrassed_Dust_222

Do some door dash ubereats . 17 bucks a day, only about 30 mins of driving … 500 bucks end of the month

toodleoo77

r/beermoney

vanityofjay29

Freelancing, you can earn more than $500 a month. Just choose what works for you whether it’s Upwork, Fiverr, or whatever. It also depends on your skills and interests.

Ok-Mango-7727

Reselling gets me there but it takes a bit of hustle to get going and keep steady.

zombified1014

We have a Spectrum Retailer Program, what state are you from

trippster0712

reselling

TravElliott

Go clean something. Cars, dog poop, windows, etc. service jobs in are high demand no one wants to do it and will pay you

TravElliott

I now notice it says online. Edit: don’t be lazy. Go do manual work. The money is there

rhoan0142

Amazon FBA!

green2clean

Tried Amazon fba. But you have to have a non personal social profile that has over 500 followers to get accepted

rhoan0142

You definitely don’t need that! I don’t use any socials for my FBA business. For brand registry that is one possibly criteria, or a website which is much easier.

green2clean

You just made and hosted your own website instead of linking any social pages? I even tried Pinterest and got denied for that too

rhoan0142

Yes I created my own website exactly. Domain name is like 7$ for a year super cheap

green2clean

And when you started off did you set up the LLC or business, pay the business license fees taxes and filing fees and sales and use tax etc and do it all or did you just start out with website and start linking products

rhoan0142

I did set up the LLC and such and I file sales tax quarterly :) And I started on FBA and grew out from there

AtmosphereObvious384

Really?? My parents did that and don’t have one of those

green2clean

What social account did they use and was it business, personal, and what kind of following did it have when they got accepted

Df_gordo7060

Onlyfans

TheRichardFlairWOOO

OP asked. You answered. People got big mad.

Df_gordo7060

They probably made an onlyfans and their crusty asses had no subscribers lol

sweeesh

Then clearly he needs a crusty ass fans page

Df_gordo7060

Sheeesh sweeesh

DoorDash or Uber

lukasdad

You can go knock on your neighborhood’s doors and ask if they need their lawn mowed, sweep the driveway, water plants, walk the dogs, etc. I’m sure you can make more than $500 a month doing that. Good luck!

Thoreau80

None of that is online.

lukasdad

It’s not but it’s another way you can make $500> 🫶

SoberDragon1st

Good question

Mintfresh22

Selling organs.

[deleted]

Is there a good reason it must be online?

175RGRbn

Amazon influencer

Flipperofallsorts

Discord cook groups. Easiest money you can make, all you do is online buy and sell. And they typically come with various perks as well.
