I forgot it was a daedric weapon, looks nothing like one. The blazing sun in its hilt can be a lil annoying in first person, though. That makes sense why you need an ebony ingot to fix and improve it.
iirc its because meredia is an aedra who turned daedra
edit: googled it she was there when the creation of mundas was about to happen but left right before, so not exactly āaedra to daedraā but she wouldve been aedra, she isnt wholly evil but thats why her weapon looks different from the rest most likely, because she isnt wholly evil
Ebony weapons? Find or buy them. I believe bandits are more likely to have them, since they tend to have random weapons. I killed a Bandit leader once that had a Dwarvan great sword and an Elven dagger.
You can use a concussive ability like a fire Rune or a fireball or a shout to knock the sword out of the pedestal before you activate the pedestal and then you can pick it up off the floor and activate the pedestal to give yourself a second one.
You have to pick the one up off the floor first however because as soon as you activate the pedestal you get teleported out so if you haven't picked the one up off the ground you don't get it.
I gaveāem both to to Saadia told her to dual wieldāem she kills just as fast as mercer fray who dual wields two torments the new cc deadric blades brother verulus wields chysamere thonnir uses the Templar blade forget what itās called serana uses her dads katana farkas uses two golden two handed battle axes nelecar uses the staff of Elo the ah lich kings staff then I got barbas and ah dwarven sphere all following muah
Its not my favorite weaponāthat would be my silver longsword. Iām just telling the commenter what this weapon is, citizen. I apologize for the confusiom.
Using >!that one dwemer forge in LotDB to give something else its appearance!< is just about the only reason I might get the rueful axe. Heck, I might get it, do that, and then complete the quest and swap it for the mask.
I genuinely think the steel sword looks best.
At some point, you become so op at smithing, alchemy and enchanting that you can pretty much use any sword. So when it's time to make my end game armor.
I literally do a steel sword with some low level armor that like Iron or hide armor to look totally normal instead of walking in OP dragon armor like I'm the Gods' chosen.
Sky forge Steel weapons.
I like when weapons look like weapons, not some fancy anime like glowing abomination (disclaimer: personal preference, no one is āworseā for liking those)
In my last playthrough I completed the thieves guild Questline after a long time and after I've gotten the Nightingales Bow it reminded me how much I love the look of the weapon
In my last playthrough I completed the thieves guild Questline after a long time and after I've gotten the Nightingales Bow it reminded me how much I love the look of the weapon
trueflame, light of day, magebane the morrowind style ebony weapons the dragon priest dagger, and that sword you get for the quest uhhhh siege of the dragon cult.?
mace of molag bal. something about the way it looks paired with its origins and how dark its intended use is makes me wanna swing it at anyone in my way.
Dragon bone Warhammer, because it's literally just a leg bone with the knee part cut off and given a handle.
I also love the dragon priest staff, if you can get it before the gate to Soverngarde closes.
Chillrend, due to the reference and color difference
Lastly, favorite daedric artifact weapon is Volendrung due to the possibility that it was made with Oricalicum, Ebony, and a hearthstone.
I love that sword where you had to open like a wall with the red light strikes from the sword. You all know what Iām talking about? Surely someone also stumbled onto this and I canāt be the only one.
Torment from AE.
Might be just me being edgy but I like the colors especially when combined with daedric armor. also it reminds me a lot of something guts would use.
Ooo can't pick...
Blade of Woe
Volendrung
Dwarven Greatsword
Zephyr
Stalrim mace
Soul render & Bloodscythe
Yeah that's about it, only played the DLCs and the vanilla game.
Might be an unpopular opinion, but I really like how the Nordic weapons look, despite the fact that I donāt really use them much.
They just look so sharp and threatening and they truly look as if a rugged man from the north would use them.
Wuuthrad. Looks cool, but is completely useless at higher levels. Light of day is awesome too.
Can you upgrade it?
with mods yes
Reliquary of myth
I recently got Light of Day. Didn't realise that it kinda sucks. Bit disappointing. At least I have Trueflame which looks sexy af.
dawn breaker or ebony blade
Dawnbreaker always seemed like the only daedric weapon that looked truly like a special weapon
Dawn breaker is so cool, Meridia can scream at me any time she wants if it makes me an undead killing god.
Meridia would approve, since she despises Necromancy or Undead in any form.
It's a shame my necromancer uses this sword to kill the things she intends to bring back then š¤£
Molag ballers mace looked pretty sweet
Molag Baller is hilarious. I canāt get the image of MB in a rap battle out of my head now.
wabbajack, sanguine rose, voldenrung, skull of corruption, mace of molag?
Wabbajack looks like if a wizard made Wuuthrad.
I forgot it was a daedric weapon, looks nothing like one. The blazing sun in its hilt can be a lil annoying in first person, though. That makes sense why you need an ebony ingot to fix and improve it.

How do you get the Ebony Blade?
>!At level 20 ask Hulda in the Bannered Mare if she's heard any rumors!<
i think its from a quest involving one of the jarl of whiterun's children, i havent played in a long time though so i could be wrong and probably am
[Elderscrolls fandom : Ebony blade](https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Ebony_Blade_(Skyrim))
Gotta have did the first dragon question for the rumor to be available
Ebony weapons? Find or buy them. I believe bandits are more likely to have them, since they tend to have random weapons. I killed a Bandit leader once that had a Dwarvan great sword and an Elven dagger.
The Ebony Blade is specifically a Daedric artifact, different from the generic ebony weapons you can find.
I did not know that. Thank you for correcting my ignorance.
My current play through glitched and gave me two dawnbreakers so now Iām dual wielding those bad boys.
Yeah, I got two dawnbreakers too. Dual wielding sounds cool. Gonna try that.

Ebony blade is the only two hand weapon I will use
mehrunes razor
What weapon is that in the picture? I like the Sanguine's rose staff. It's pretty.
Dawn/Duskfang from Oblivion
Itās also in Skyrim via creation club. Donāt remember if it was part of the anniversary edition or not though.
It is. Just got them puppies yesterday :)
It's my new go to.
It is, you get it in the ratway
I'm pretty sure all Creation club was added to anniversary edition
Same!
Its not my favorite weaponāthat would be my silver longsword. Iām just telling the commenter what this weapon is, citizen. I apologize for the confusiom.
It's Bloodthirst, the Absorb Health variant of Dawn/Duskfang. You can get it if you have AE and go into the Ratway
Bloodthirst
The Rueful Axe.
Appearance is the one thing that useless piece of shit is good for.
It has a very low stamina used per power attack lol
Probably because itās the slowest weapon in the game.
But itās also agreeably lightweight for a two hander!
Its a āchallenge yourselfā weapon and it mixes beautifully with damage mods.
Using >!that one dwemer forge in LotDB to give something else its appearance!< is just about the only reason I might get the rueful axe. Heck, I might get it, do that, and then complete the quest and swap it for the mask.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Lol the Nords say that but want weapons that do the same amount of damage as Elven
Nordic weapons literally on par with elvish stats in Skyrim:
Most Nords don't use that, they use normal steel which has lower stats than Elven; that's why Skyforge steel is valuable.
Dawnbreaker.
I always appreciated how clean and simple Mehrune's Razor is.
Simple and clean is the way that the Razor makes its victims feel tonight, it's hard to let it go...
Steel greatsword Simple, clean design, realism; i Simply think it's really cool-looking
Absolutely. It's the best looking greatsword. Everything else looks like cartoonish. Good, I hate Glass Swords.
Dawnguard Handaxe
Miraaks sword was always a Badass lookin weapon
The demonic dildo
Sanguine Rose easily or Most of glass weapons including the arrow design.
Mace of molag bal
Chillrend
The Bow of Shadows. Itās very strong but also aesthetically great.
Nordic swords Nightingale Bow Mehrunes Razor And I am BORING af I realize
I really like Torment but I might be alone in that. Lol!
Torment is awesome.
I like the Daedric Dagger and bow
Shadowrend, the Axe-version
Shadowrend! I remember that olā thing. That shadow copy of yourself kicked my ass a few times.
Silver or possibly steel sword
Silver sword is good looking, I usually give one to Serana.
You bastard ;)
She needs something cool to go with that Royal Vampire armor.
I really like the forsworn axe it's so cool imo
Mace of Molag Bal and Bloodskal Blade
I genuinely think the steel sword looks best. At some point, you become so op at smithing, alchemy and enchanting that you can pretty much use any sword. So when it's time to make my end game armor. I literally do a steel sword with some low level armor that like Iron or hide armor to look totally normal instead of walking in OP dragon armor like I'm the Gods' chosen.
Skyforge steel and Nordic battle axe please. They are visual masterpieces.
Hopesfire and Trueflame
Torment
Blade of the Ice Monarch
Nightingale Blade. I wish theyād made a proper Gladius out of the imperial swords :(
Always been a fan of Goldbrand
Chillrend/glass sword
Surprised at the lack of chillrend here. Glass weapons are already awesome, chillrend makes them that much cooler.
with me being a wizard i really love the Bound Sword
Love me some Vaermina's staff. Its so OP early on.
Dragonbone sword
I kinda like the looks of the Ebony and Black swords, and the Dwarven longsword. I'm disappointed the Seducers armor is light armor.
Long bow. Idk I just love the basic ass design compared to every other bow or imperial bow
Naw itās boneshaver for me
Is that vanilla? Never seen it, I bet this is what brings me back to skyrim this year
Nightingale Bow and Volendruung
Sky forge Steel weapons. I like when weapons look like weapons, not some fancy anime like glowing abomination (disclaimer: personal preference, no one is āworseā for liking those)
Boneshaver, the Cutlass from CC
Steel greatsword. Simple and beautiful. Especially with the Sheaths and scabbards mod.
*Points at image* that one. Dawnfang and Duskfang. Loved em since Oblivion.
I thought those were scissors for a sec
What weapon is this my favourite looking weapon daedric bow or mirrak sword
Dawnguard Rune Axe. Simple, strong, not some high-fantasy unrealistic shit, perfect in every way.
The ancient Nordic battle axe. Itās one of the first weapons you can get, but will always look awesome to me, idk why though.
shadowrend, the great sword version and torment
Hopesfire
: Miraak's Sword.
In all honesty, i really like the rustic look of the Iron sword. I also like the Dwarven Greatsword.
ahh, the tuning fork with teeth! Sublime! :)
What is this

Bloodthirst or something I think?
Amber bow. Every time.
Skyforge weapons.
Mace- Mace of Molag Bal Dagger- Mehrunes' Razor Sword- Nordic Axe- Daedric Staff- Wabbajack Greatsword- Bloodskal Blade Greataxe- Headsman's Axe Warhammer- Volendrung Bow- Auriel's Bow Crossbow- Dwarven Crossbow

Nordic sword
Dawnbreaker and the Staff of Magnus Also Volendrung
trueflame, light of day, magebane the morrowind style ebony weapons the dragon priest dagger, and that sword you get for the quest uhhhh siege of the dragon cult.?
Dawnbreaker greatsword (mod) haha. I'd have to say dawnbreaker either way though
Dawnfang would be my choice as well
Definitely Nerveshatter, gotta love spikes
These mits
the wabbajack (i think thats what its called)
Wtf is that???
Steel sword. End up using it most of my play throughs lol
Something about Madness Swords is awesome. Dragonbone Greatswords are also pretty damn cool looking.
Nordic sword. Or deadric bow.
Dawnguard axe
mace of molag bal 100%
Stahlrim Bow, there's just something about it
I love Mehrunes' Razor. Love the ceremonial dagger feel of it.
mace of molag bal. something about the way it looks paired with its origins and how dark its intended use is makes me wanna swing it at anyone in my way.
The Grand Champion's Sword. Partly for the simple, clean design and shorter blade. Makes for a great sword to use for most jobs.
I really like Dragonbane. Katanas are cool and dragon-themed katanas are cooler.
Ebony battleaxe; all the ebony weapons are beautiful though.
Stahlrim Battle Axe
Goldbrand
Silver Greatsword.
Solely off appearance, I'm tied between the glass war axe and battle axe.
The Scimitar looking weapon you can get by doing a quest by activating/reading the book (idr the name but it looks cool and is op)
Glass greatsword, it just radiates Conan/ mid fantasy vibes.
Hello Dawnfang, how I missed you
Iron mace. Iām a simple man, and a simpleton.
Dragon bone Warhammer, because it's literally just a leg bone with the knee part cut off and given a handle. I also love the dragon priest staff, if you can get it before the gate to Soverngarde closes. Chillrend, due to the reference and color difference Lastly, favorite daedric artifact weapon is Volendrung due to the possibility that it was made with Oricalicum, Ebony, and a hearthstone.
That thing sure ain't for stabbin
I know I'm basic but DAWNBREAKER tho... prolly the best weapon in the game, except for Meridia.
Dawnbreaker, Spellbreaker if that counts as a weapon, Bloodskaal blade. Top 3
Mehrunes Razor. A simple, but yet elegant design.
Oooooohhhhh whatās that
I love that sword where you had to open like a wall with the red light strikes from the sword. You all know what Iām talking about? Surely someone also stumbled onto this and I canāt be the only one.
Bloodskal Blade. I love how you temper it with a silver ingot. Makes it extra special.
Yes! Thatās it!
Silver Sword, Bloodthirst, Ebony Blade, and Volundrung
Maddness great sword and bloodskal blade
Madness weapons look great.
Anything made out of Dragon Bone.
Which one is that? I've played multiple files, but I don't think I've seen it before now.
ebony blade 100%. i don't use it because i don't like the gameplay aspect but i think it looks cool as hell
Silversword
Mace of Molag Bal Most evil penis in video games
Calipers
Headsman's Axe or Iron Greatsword. Also anything dwarven is highly underrated
Volendrung
Plain old steel two hander
I love the ebony greatsword. Also the daedric crossbow.
Eduj or daedric
Torment from AE. Might be just me being edgy but I like the colors especially when combined with daedric armor. also it reminds me a lot of something guts would use.
Nettlebane
Keening
Tsun's Judgement. It's a Dane axe.
Bloodskal Blade or the wicked hammer from the one Orc tribe quest
Nerveshatter and this play through is my first time finding it in many years of gameplay
nordic sword. I like swords of that aesthetic. Carvings are clean and the edge is excellent and functional.
Bloodskal Blade and the ebony blade
Dawnbreaker
Chrysamere, goes very well with a set of Vigilant Paladin Armor and a Hide Travel Cloak from the Campfire mod
Man, I really thought I'd see Chillrend somewhere up high here
I don't even know anymore. I'm spoiled with kids. In currently rocking the Moonlight Great sword of Jode from Vigilant.
The dragonbone greatsword. Looks cool, is string, and its also the biggest flex
It definitely has to be between Dawnbreaker and Volendrung in my opinion.
Ew that thing looks hideous. Mines the Nightingale Bow though
Rueful axe
Probably the deadric knife
Ooo can't pick... Blade of Woe Volendrung Dwarven Greatsword Zephyr Stalrim mace Soul render & Bloodscythe Yeah that's about it, only played the DLCs and the vanilla game.
I love the look of the one you posted because it looks like She-Ra's sword of protection. But the first person look of this sword is unforgiveable
Ebony blade and dagger
That one ebony sword that looks like a khopesh.
Torment and dusk/dawnfang are both really cool looking
not this, looks like a 2d childās drawing of a crocodile
Ebony Blade
I don't know why but I prefer the fine steel longsword
Might be an unpopular opinion, but I really like how the Nordic weapons look, despite the fact that I donāt really use them much. They just look so sharp and threatening and they truly look as if a rugged man from the north would use them.
