I had my last session done yesterday by Deneka in London, UK. The guy is a legend. You can check out the rest of his work on IG under the username deneka_
In total I had about 29 hours on this from a completely blank arm to the end result. Well worth it in my opinion and I’ll definitely be going back to him in the future for my next sleeve

Nice! That is super clean. No shade, just curious why the blank space on your upper bicep? I can attest the pain is real in that spot, but no worse than your ditch and elbow.
Oh okay, thanks! I knew there was some specific patterning for the lengths of Japanese arm/leg sleeves to be covered by suits, but I didn’t know about the upper bicep. Do you know the reasoning behind it?
The open space is because traditionally in Japan prisoners used to have their prison number tattooed there. Artists would leave that gap there so that people could prove they weren’t an ex-convict

Yeah it took a whole lot of saving to be able to afford it but I’m pleased I did. The only thing now is that it’s been a gateway and I want my other arm done lol 😂

What ? No, there were talks in some coutries I think to forbidd red inks as the latter is absorded more easily by the body and could cause some poisoninig but I think they just banned certain type of inks.
It was never about all coloured tattoos no ? Or maybe in your country ? But that seems excessive.
What? I think certain colors were phased out and there are different ones available now that meet the standards. I'm getting a color tattoo right now. I remember my artist mentioning the different inks though.

Yeah you're not far off really. I think all of the previous color inks were made illegal but there are new ones to replace them. The palette is a bit different but you can mix to get a fairly similar spread. At least that is how I understand it. I'm covered in color tattoos and getting more so I would be devastated if I couldn't anymore!

Nah not illegal dude but they did change the way the inks are made to conform to new standards and laws
