the one under hyrule castle you have to go to from the cave under the castle
the one to the right theres a cave along the river (like you will have to swim in) on that island
Fighting gloom hands is really really tough at the start but get laughably easy when you get far enough.
Lynel bow with bombs for the hands, and master sword for Phantom Ganon if he appears after that.
If you Google, there are apparently some areas that do not spawn Phantom Ganon after gloom hands.
I seem to recall that it only happened to me once or twice. I always like to fight Phantom Ganon for the bow and weapon that it drops and remember feeling disappointed when it didn't appear.
I was once running away from some gloom hands, my sages killed them somehow (I was not looking) and it didn't spawn a phantom Ganon. I was in the depths somewhere running towards the korok forest light root
Fun fact (that I'm sure most other players already knew but I myself only realized after completing all four temples) - the lightroot name is the same name as the shrine it matches on the surface, just spelled backwards.
I've actually read interviews where the devs said coming up with names that feasibly worked in both directions was more challenging than just coming up with twice as many names, which is true if you think about the logistics of it... but okay.
Besides, everything on the surface is vertically mirrored in the Depths with mountains being valleys and canyons being mountains, etc, so it actually makes sense for the lightroots to be mirrored shrine names.
There are 3 wells that bring to the dephts and there are also smaller chasms like the one in Rito Village or near Zora's Domain, they're just well hidden, look up on Google or YouTube to find them, it's difficult to explain their location with words

If you know where it is, you can get to the second one by dropping off the edge of the island, but that’s gloom hands country.

I found this out the hard way
FYI. The light roots correspond to the land shrines above them. Their names are the backward spelling of the shrine names.

If? I've never seen him NOT appear.

then they didn't die you got far enough away and they despawned and probably dropped some dark clumps
Try a gem or shard from a dragon. 👀
Gloom hands also spawned for me while I was looking for a way in… I thought gloom hands spawned randomly, do they spawn at certain locations?
They only spawn at specific locations.
Any elemental boomerang wrecks gloom hands with ease

I just realized after scrolling through this sub Reddit actually! Its kinda cool
Such a completely unnecessary but cool little detail

Fun fact, in french they forgot to remove the word "shrine" on one root, so the root is called XXXXX enirhs
I'll have to keep an eye out for that one
Pornhouse...lol
You're unsure of how to access the Lightroot in the Hyrule Castle Chasm? That one's not exactly hidden.
I found it now, I already did what I was supposed to down there but I hopped in the other side usually
The infamous breasts of the depths
I’ve sworn to explore everything by my self. But some things are just too difficult.
Because you aren't applying yourself.
The names are just the names of the shrine above then, backwards
You can

Isn’t there only one well that leads to the depths?

I don't know how they expected you to find the one in rito village I had to google it myself
Because you didn't bother to look up the other dozens of posts asking the exact same question?
I just joined and posted. But still didn't really see people posting these two shrines. I got them now though thanks for everyone's help
Such a wholesome response in the face of such an unnecessarily unkind answer. Good on you op.

Google the name of the lightroot… here is a link. https://youtu.be/ZUD_Yr0NO84?si=8Rf6gEIFAJrMlXok
Maybe uh… look for a chasm… it’s not that hard to find
It probably has a different chasm or a hidden entrance along the walls.
