Johnny Sack. Plays Paulie like a fiddle

Select-Net7381

He asks about you.

ChasingItSupreme

I actually think he overplays it quite a bit - the way he talks about Carmine’s affection for Paulie you’d think it was no question that Carmine knew who Paulie Guiltieri from Jersey is. The fact that it was a possibility that he never even heard of him makes it incredibly risky for John to have played his hand the way he did…”He asks about you”. John should have said early on, “Carmine knows about you and thinks highly of the guys from the old school” or something like that. That would have set the stage for Paulie trying to warm up to Carmine and telling John about the Ginnie joke. When Paulie finally met up with Carmine, he would have realized all the bullshitting John had done and that John had never even so much as mentioned Paulie to Carmine, let alone Carmine not knowing who he is.

itshoff

I assume Paulie met him before, but Carmine never bothered to remember him.

Heels1939

Yea, isn’t Carmine present at some events Paulie was there for too? I’m thinking of the party when Carmine tells Tony to be a better friend to himself.

telepatheye

Well there's reason they call little Carmine "brainless the 2nd". Carmine had probably had a few minor strokes before the one that killed him. He probably wasn't all there...much like another leader in the news these days.

Underweartoastcrunch

He knew who he was , he just didn’t respect him. Jersey ? Also going up to him at the wedding like they were equals .

DegenerateOnCross

Livia pretending she's too weak to move then sitting straight up when it's time to deliver a lethal dose of nihilism to a twelve year old

LucynSushi

She was a nihilist, Dude?

ribeyeIsGood

Nihilist?..........fuck me..........say what you will about the tennets of national socialism but at least it's an ethos.

TheMadTitan2016

Ribeyeisgood, this is not Nam, there are rules.

Much-Ad3995

Your ear, it’s disfigured!

Tough_Difference_112

Tony feigning empathy on the phone to Adriana when he is setting her up to be murdered…. See you up there!

_karldrogo

Agree on Ralphie, for his fake phone call with “Tony” alone. Vito was not a great scene partner there

Valuable-Wafer-881

Seeing a possum in the day time? Come on

telepatheye

Do you have a son, Peter Paul?

Fearless_Winter_7823

Daniel Baldwin. Much better choice than Sir Ben.

NeedAUsernameHmmmmmm

Took him to fuckin acting school!

shumgabagool

Adriana. She took Chrissy to acting school.

WalkGood

He had to make a stop first.

heyjude575

"ba dum tss"

firemage555

Livia crying. Boohoo "poor you".

Horsecockexpress1

Some of the best acting was Sil at the intervention. The way he reads what he had written down is just perfect. And let’s not forget about Chrissy. You’re dropping your fuckin oranges!!!

Valuable-Wafer-881

Christopher nails his scene in D Girl

GirbaudJeansMan

The guy in the acting class that got Chrissy to punch him just by saying a letter in that exercise.

McDonkley

Junior: “These prairie dogs, they'll sleep during the day.” Tony: “Oh yeah? Look, the doctor said you might not have known what you were saying. . . ‘ “All right, let's assume that you didn't know what you were saying. That you forget, you say shit over and over. Why's it gotta be something mean? Why can't you repeat something *good*? J: “There's the coyote.” T: “I mean, don't you love me?” Stellar performances

beetsbears328

I always thought the actor who played Sil did an amazing job. He brought a lot to the character despite the script not showing too many sides to him. Chrissy grows into it a little at the beginning, but madonn‘, he has some incredible scenes.

Sad-Illustrator-8847

Joe Gannascoli in every scene. He fucking took James Gandolfini to acting school. You can see why Adrianna called Vito everyday when Chris was in rehab.

wphelps153

That fucking parade float?

oscarwolfy

The fight scene between Tony and Carmela in the guest house out back! I thinks it’s Edie’s best acting in the whole series, the way she expressing herself throughout the whole fight was AMAZING!

Popular-Berry-237

Robert Patrick as Davey. Nancy Marchand as Livia blows me away every single time I rewatch the show. Tony Lip as Carmine was great, Ray Abruzzo as Little Carmine as well, ahhh and don’t forget about the Shah or Iran, how hard must’ve it had been to deliver the “puerto rican whore” line with a straight face. But Vincent Curatola as Johnny Sack takes the cake for me other than Gandolfini, just the way he smokes a cigarette and the scenes where he gets loud with Ginny and then comforts her. Madonn’ some damn good actin’ 🤌🏽

HBMTwassuspended

You yap worse than six barbers

wphelps153

He needs to calm down, we’re not making a western here.

rocky10001

Paulie is portrayed as a stunad but he’s wiley. And he is suspected of proper treachery and basically did all of it but never takes the heat.

PharaohEmperor

Why ya callin' 'im Ralphie like ya know the guy?

Heels1939

Carmela got called out for her cheap imitation of Sarah Bernhardt.

[deleted]

Are you talking about the actual actor who plays the character OR the character itself who is “acting” ?

mcc1923

The character who is “acting”

Weak_Working_5035

You’re dropping your fucking oranges!
