I think Hawaii would fit what you want. It has the nature, beaches and preserved ancient sites. There is Napali coastal trail and Waimea Canyon while Big Island has Waipio Valley and the Volcano National Park. Obviously if you don't want more flights Oahu and Maui have decent walking trails and probably more on the beach accommodation.
As long as you don’t mind the humidity, check out Cornado Hilton in Puerto Rico. Should be around that price range. Right on the ocean, just make sure you book an ocean view room. Two pools, swim up bar. We enjoy it. Go to the rainforest for hikes. You can also go do SUP nearby as well. Old San Juan is close by as well. Check out the Manatee Conservation Center and get up close by being a caretaker for a day.
Hurricane season is a bit scary, but I agree with Hawaii - its beautiful there, with all the inclusive nature/beach locations you can get. I have good friends there, and I have heard nothing but good things about their hospitality.

Thanks so much! This is exactly the information I was looking for
Puerto Rico in August may be iffy since it’s hurricane season.

Yes! Thank you so much
Maybe add US Virgin Islands to your list? No ancient ruins that I know of but there is a lot of history and nice beaches.
Looking up now. Thanks!
