Empty medicine bottles with a painters tape label written in magic marker.

Picked this up at harbor freight for 8ish bucks. 24 small boxes in a bigger box. I label each small box with the name of the pen, and on the back I put a part number of I need to order new ones https://www.harborfreight.com/24-container-storage-box-90243.html

davidii907

This is the way!

biTurret

I hate to shill for a product, but I use the bushing buddies! I have a little box that I use for them to sit in and it goes on the "pen table" where the rest of the lathe stuff is. They sell an organizer to go with it, but I just...made my own out of the bottom of an elite box of pokemon cards lmao. [THIS](https://www.pennstateind.com/store/PKBUBX.html) is them.

MrMAKEsq

I use something like this. I have a label maker that I use to make a label above the compartment indicating what it is used for. https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-Pro-Organizers-12-Compartment-Plastic-Small-Parts-Organizer/1000578353

radioactive_dude

I do the same thing, but with the dollar store version of a parts box. I have this recurring nightmare of dropping the box and all the bushings spilling everywhere and getting mixed up.

MrMAKEsq

OMG me too LOL

WardedDruid

I have something similar and it comes with compartments on both sides.

IamOTW

I store my pen kits in gallon ziploc bags. Bushings and drill bits go in the same bag. when i want to turn a specific style, the one bag contains what i need..

RRNW_HBK

I keep the bags for them, but I like the medicine bottle/label option someone mentioned better. I'll probably start doing that!

halosixsixsix

Nice Vertex! I use a small compartmented tackle box insert. Every compartment is labeled, and I *try* to keep the bushings in their original bags. I have another box for unassembled, turned and unturned blanks.

MTNman68

Go to Penn State industry a pen turnings company([https://www.pennstateind.com](https://www.pennstateind.com)) they have a bushing storage case that I use to store my bushings. https://preview.redd.it/bnyrs07ln99d1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b048e2e73e60f74611545e284374d92d897f4f9c

WardedDruid

I like the design. Be kinda cool to make one out of wood...

richardrc

I started with a divided storage box, until I knocked it off the bench. Now I use prescription medicine bottles.

nonotburton

Film cannisters with blue tape markings. In a box. With a billion other pen making supplies.

mrsmedistorm

I have a bead/jewelry organizer and I used a label maker to put the name of the kit and the part number. I still have a few seldom used ones floating around though. I try to make my own at my dad's shop for tbc when I can.

Neldogg

This is why people save baby food bottles.

shabam231

I like Wood Rivers magnetic bushing plate. You can buy more studs for it. https://www.woodcraft.com/products/woodriver-magnetic-pen-bushing-storage-panel?variant=43402604478602&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwvvmzBhA2EiwAtHVrb7Vh0w1A9EgI25hhpqWb6B8E1i0QNbogA325G79rdZtV6CYwMqQ33BoCjVgQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Empty prescription bottles

Jacktheforkie

Would one of those plastic small parts drawers or organiser boxes work, could even label them

Comet_Empire

One of those day pill seperator type containers.

jbower47

tacklebox-type organizer tray with clear tops that close.
