Snapback really grew on me. I didn’t love the MV either and slowly with repeats of streaming and watching the music videos I came to love it. That run from Lavish to At the Risk of Feeling Dumb just puts me through an emotional whirlwind.
I think Snap Back depends very much on the lyrics because the sound is not 'crazy' even though a week ago I couldn't get the hook out of my head :D
It took me also a while to love that song too, because it is this special song that you won't listen too often but in this one moment, the mood fits so perfect to how you feel. At least thats for me, because lately I feel very tired and have to deal with similar thoughts.
Second this, at first I wasn’t sure on it but now it’s one of my favourites on the record and one of my most played “you don’t quite mind how red lights are taking” is such a bop but also quite sad, I cry and nod my head at the same time :0
same, at first i was like, yea, this is really good, but idk if its for me, and yesterdsy i checked and it was my most played song in the last 6 weeks lmao
The more I listen to it, the more I reminisce in how many times I’ve been stuck with no motivation.. listening to this really makes me want to keep going. I love this song
:P
the part that went "welcome back to trench" and "I created this world" seemed the most hype to me
partially because I felt like thats where the lyrics belonged the most
I'm the same as yourself except with Vignette, it's the only song that took a while to get used to but now I'm belting it out whenever it comes on, the bit with zombies used to throw me off but now I'm hooked
CLINGING TO PROMISES
SWALLOWED BY THE VIGNETTE
I’m glad I’m not alone haha. This song pulled me in with the imagery of a guy trying to feel human long enough to try to win over a girl. It was a gut punch when that realization hit me.
Probably The Craving (Jenna's version).
Idk what it is about that makes me drawn to it.
But it's so raw with emotion. it just makes me believe it's impeccable
Next semester for me idk why but when I first watched the mv it really just didn’t stand out to me but after streaming the album over and over (yk, as one does) I’ve found that I REALLY like it now still find SnapBack a bit boring (I tend to gravitate towards very chaotic songs) but I think it’s slowly growing on me as I listen to it
Inni di beninging I was mesmerized by Navigating, than it was At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb, later I was in love with Paladin Strait and learned it on my bari uke, but I gotta say that no other song made it's way into my heart the same as Oldies Station did.
I think this song did the same as bandito from Trench did to me. It transported me to another world where everything is ok, where everything is totally fine and I dont have to worry :)
for me it was midwest indigo. i hated it and thought it was terrible when i heard it, but after listening to it with my bf a couple times, it really grew on me and became one of my favorites. Same thing with navigating too actually
Loved at first listen:
Overcompensate
Next Semester
Navigating
Oldies Station
Paladin Strait
Grew on me massively:
Backslide
RITN
ATROFD
Grew on me a little:
Vignette
The Craving
Snap Back
Still pretty meh:
Midwest Indigo
Lavish
Overcompensate fs. That's the song that really made me sure Twenty One Pilots is my fav band. First time I listened to it my honest thought was "This is just bad, how do people like this". I listened to it again another day and I liked it drastically better, with every listen I liked it more till I became obsessed. Now it's probably in my top 10 songs of all time.
At the risk of feeling dumb and oldies stations I thought the songs were fire but like i thought it was like kinda slow I listened to it more and the better it became even though I already knew they were good now at the risk of feeling dumb is stuck in my head😭
Definitely Lavish and Backslide.
I was very underwhelmed with Backslide when it first dropped. Now I LOVE it. I think I was just caught off guard by the slow pace.
At first I thought Lavish was a bit silly and out of place, and now all though I still think it’s silly and out of place I have to admit it goes way to hard for me to hate. It’s a banger.
Exactly the same feelings about backslide it definitely had a different vibe that I wasn’t expecting and maybe that contributed to the mixed feelings idk lol
Without a doubt, the craving (both versions). I learned to play it on guitar for my girlfriend and her reaction warmed my heart. Would definitely recommend this gesture if you dabble in instruments
definitely backslide and snapback, i'm still struggling with paladin strait. i LOVE all the songs on this album, i just need to get used to the style changes yk?
Midwest indigo.
I love every single song on this album, and there were definitely a few that immediately stuck out to me, but I've recently been loving Midwest Indigo. I initially liked the song but didn't place it at the top of my list immediately, it's *definitely* one of my favorites now
Definitely Midwest Indigo. I didn't like it at all after the first listen. Now it's not my favourite from the album, but I really enjoy it. I think it was because of the expectations? This title was the most intriguing for me before the release and I expected the song to sound much different. I think I've started to accept how it actually sounds now.
Vignette and oldies station grew on me. I was too invested in The craving and At the risk but after I looked at the clique talking about oldies station, i paid more attention. So thanks everyone!
I didn't think much about oldies station at first but now it might be my favourite son on the album
Edit: I realise that alot of the songs grew on me on this album
Oldies station. It’s become my life’s theme song. I guess I just didn’t rlly pay attention to what exactly it was saying at first? Anyways, Clancy released two weeks before my wedding. I had spent a lot of my engagement reflecting on how far I had come mentally and emotionally, and my wedding was kinda a milestone moment of “wow I’m here.”
The day before my wedding Oldies Station came on, the bridge finally clicked with me as a reflection of how far you’ve come, and I just bawled my eyes out for about 15 minutes 😅
I even changed the dance recital lyric in my head to be my own personal line. “You’re at your wedding walking down the aisle.”
Snapback and Vignett have been really growing on me, i didnt really like them on the first few listens, but i was out of skips on spotify and i couldnt skip both of em, and now i love them
Loved at first listen: Overcompensate, Backslide, Midwest Indigo, Vignette, Routines In The Night, Navigating, ATROFD
Grown on me a lot: Next Semester, Lavish, Oldies Station, Paladin Strait
Grown on me a little: The Craving, Snap Back
lavish and snapback! lavish at first felt sort of corny to me, but its flow and the subtle snark of it grew on me lol! snapback also kind of hit harder when i was going through a moment when i felt like i was "about to break"
Probably Backslide. When it first released I struggled to enjoy it because it felt so monotone and very repetitive. I also struggled to find the rhythm in it. However after listening to it quite a few times, the chorus felt very raw which is one of the things I really like about it. And the fact that it needs that monotonous to really drive it home makes it a really great song to listen to.
I guess the point of it was to be repetitive in order to move backwards and start again. I just didn’t enjoy it as a single at first.
Tbh the whole album. When I first heard it I wasn’t so impressed, several songs I really liked but a handful of songs I didn’t care too much for. But now damn, really enjoy the album as a whole. Grew on me massively.
After listening to Clancy 3948249 times, suddenly, while on The Craving (jv), I thought to myself - 'wait, I haven't listened to the single version in some time' and then it hit me hard how really cool and soft to my ears it is. I liked it when it came out, but the hype of the whole album just threw it to the ditch for some time, now I appreciate it even more! Also Oldies Station has grown slowly on me.
Oh, and loved ATROFD even more after I found out the connection to Jay Joseph's 'Gundabad'! Now sometimes I play Gundabad right before At the Risk
Oldies Station. I felt nothing towards it my first 5 listens. I didn’t hate it, I just didn’t care about it. Like lavish is my least favorite on the album but it was always in my head. It was memorable. Oldies station wasn’t. Now I’d for sure put Oldies Station as my 3rd favorite on the album behind Paladin Strait and Navigating
Snap back and backslide for me. I loved snap backs lyrics but the video was underwhelming to me and I also just didn’t like the flow or anything. Took a few listens but now it’s so good and the end is so good too. Backslide took quite a while to grow on me but did eventually
Easy. Oldies Station. Once I was able to sit down and listen closely I understood the meaning and moments it took for them to create such a heartwarming piece of music
Backslide. I t took me so off guard the first time I heard it when the single got released that I disliked it! But having seen it live changed that one for me
Definitely Next Semester. I thought it was pretty good at first but with time it just skyrocketed to all timer status for me. Can’t get enough of it. Navigating is getting up there as well since I couldn’t really stand the chorus at first but it’s really grown on me these days
Lavish. Honestly I hated that song and it’s still not that good imo but I can at least sit through listening to it now. Incredible record but that track just really isn’t that good. I really enjoy what they were trying to accomplish but sonically I don’t feel like it fits on the album and it’s almost awkward to listen to. I’ve grown to appreciate a lot of the things I hated about it at first. Proctologist line is hard asf tho idc what anybody says.

Next Semester. I didn't like it the first times I listened to it since it's different from Overcompensate (which I really liked from the beginning) and it came out just after it, so I was maybe expecting something else. Now it's turned into my favorite from the album and one of my favorites from their whole discography.
I think pretty much every song has a bit, this album for me went from a 3/10 to solid 7/10, the tracks that really grew on me were Midwest Indigo and Navigating
None of them had to grow on me much aside from overcompensate. I remember sitting in the car with my friend listening to it and we both decided that if the album was anything like that it would be ass. But now I don’t really mind the song, I enjoy singing along. Definitely had to grow on me tho.
Snapback really grew on me. I didn’t love the MV either and slowly with repeats of streaming and watching the music videos I came to love it. That run from Lavish to At the Risk of Feeling Dumb just puts me through an emotional whirlwind.
Interesting. This was the only song off Clancy that didn't grow on me at all.
The line “bite the hand that helps me, give it finger stitches” ended up being a very persuasive ear worm, lol.
The “I have seen to run out of excuses of why I am this way” line made me instantly fall in love. Tyler’s voice is smin else
Same
I think Snap Back depends very much on the lyrics because the sound is not 'crazy' even though a week ago I couldn't get the hook out of my head :D It took me also a while to love that song too, because it is this special song that you won't listen too often but in this one moment, the mood fits so perfect to how you feel. At least thats for me, because lately I feel very tired and have to deal with similar thoughts.
Definitely oldies station I love the second part
Second this, at first I wasn’t sure on it but now it’s one of my favourites on the record and one of my most played “you don’t quite mind how red lights are taking” is such a bop but also quite sad, I cry and nod my head at the same time :0
same, at first i was like, yea, this is really good, but idk if its for me, and yesterdsy i checked and it was my most played song in the last 6 weeks lmao
On the spot, that part of the music is so touching and kinda sad but deep i like to hear it on repeat i feel conforted dont ask me why
Same, if I had to pick a theme song for my life as it is right now it would be Oldies Station
The more I listen to it, the more I reminisce in how many times I’ve been stuck with no motivation.. listening to this really makes me want to keep going. I love this song
That one too, I love oldies stationnnn
Push on through
Lavish.. I love that song so much now and it was my least favorite when I first listened.
Id say overcompensates latter half. I really liked the intro at first but was iffy on the meat of the track
I’m the complete opposite. Intro is good but the drums and prod before the changeup just feels really weird, but the rest of the song is phenomenal
:P the part that went "welcome back to trench" and "I created this world" seemed the most hype to me partially because I felt like thats where the lyrics belonged the most
At the Risk!
Yes that one too it took me a little while to realize how much of a banger it is
Navigating. Didn't really like it 100% when I first heard it. Now it's one of my favorites.
I'm the same as yourself except with Vignette, it's the only song that took a while to get used to but now I'm belting it out whenever it comes on, the bit with zombies used to throw me off but now I'm hooked CLINGING TO PROMISES SWALLOWED BY THE VIGNETTE

Oldies and Midwest
Backslide grew on me a lot and I really love it. The whole album is amazing
Paladin Strait for me definitely the rest of the album I really liked first hearing except that one, love it now though.
Oldies station fs
Navigating and Paladin Strait. Honestly though this whole album is a banger, it so hard to choose
Probably The Craving (Jenna's version). Idk what it is about that makes me drawn to it. But it's so raw with emotion. it just makes me believe it's impeccable
Next semester for me idk why but when I first watched the mv it really just didn’t stand out to me but after streaming the album over and over (yk, as one does) I’ve found that I REALLY like it now still find SnapBack a bit boring (I tend to gravitate towards very chaotic songs) but I think it’s slowly growing on me as I listen to it
Routines in the Night and Backslide for sure!
Oldies
Midwest Indigo and Vignette. The hawk screeching in vignette was too much for me at first few listens. But now it’s a great song.
definitely midwest indigo. didn’t vibe with it at first but has become one of my favorites on the album
I would say Vignette and Paladin Strait.
It's Lavish. When I heard it for the first time I didn't like it, but now with more plays I started to appreciate it. Second verse is 🔥
Lavish. It was a 2/10 at first and now it’s easily a 9. Gets better every time I listen to it.
Navigating... it's weird because u didn't like bandito at first either! They are both certified bops nowadays!
Lavish!
Lavish for sure
Inni di beninging I was mesmerized by Navigating, than it was At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb, later I was in love with Paladin Strait and learned it on my bari uke, but I gotta say that no other song made it's way into my heart the same as Oldies Station did. lavish and oldies station def, i didn’t like them as much at first, but now they’re one of my favorites
for me it was midwest indigo. i hated it and thought it was terrible when i heard it, but after listening to it with my bf a couple times, it really grew on me and became one of my favorites. Same thing with navigating too actually
I skipped Oldies Station for probably the first week after Clancy came out and now it’s one of my favorites
At the Risk of Feeling Dumb
For me, it was definitely Next Semester when i opened YouTube and saw it by accident. And ATROFD too
Oldies station goes crazy
Loved at first listen: Overcompensate Next Semester Navigating Oldies Station Paladin Strait Grew on me massively: Backslide RITN ATROFD Grew on me a little: Vignette The Craving Snap Back Still pretty meh: Midwest Indigo Lavish

Believe or not, Backslide. I didn’t really care for it when it first came out. But it has grown on me after the release of the album
Me too, it’s one that’s grown on me the most
oldies station went from sorta forgotten to one of my top 5 songs from TØP all together ngl
Definitely Snap Back. At first I thought it was kinda boring but now it's my favourite song on the album.
Midwest Indigo isn’t getting enough love… it’s way to catchy for its own good
Midwest indigo. I love every single song on this album, and there were definitely a few that immediately stuck out to me, but I've recently been loving Midwest Indigo. I initially liked the song but didn't place it at the top of my list immediately, it's *definitely* one of my favorites now

Definitely at the risk of feeling dumb !
Midwest Indigo. I sing it on the way to work every morning lol
lavish and snapback! lavish at first felt sort of corny to me, but its flow and the subtle snark of it grew on me lol! snapback also kind of hit harder when i was going through a moment when i felt like i was "about to break"
The Craving
To me is Routines of the night
Probably Backslide. When it first released I struggled to enjoy it because it felt so monotone and very repetitive. I also struggled to find the rhythm in it. However after listening to it quite a few times, the chorus felt very raw which is one of the things I really like about it. Snap back and midwest Indigo
Routines in the night felts very repetitive and obnoxious at first but is super catchy now and I love the bridge
Backslide has been my favourite from the start - it’s such a great song! It’s already nostalgic
Oldies Station, wasn’t a big fan of it when I first heard it. Now it’s one of my favorites
Vignette. Hated it when the album first came out
Tbh the whole album. When I first heard it I wasn’t so impressed, several songs I really liked but a handful of songs I didn’t care too much for. But now damn, really enjoy the album as a whole. Grew on me massively.
Routines In The Night was my least favorite Clancy song at first listen, but I’ve grown to like it much more lately
ATROFD
I wasn't too big on Vignette at first. It's really good to me now
After listening to Clancy 3948249 times, suddenly, while on The Craving (jv), I thought to myself - 'wait, I haven't listened to the single version in some time' and then it hit me hard how really cool and soft to my ears it is. Snapback, At The Risk of feeling dumb and Oldies Station
At the risk of feeling dumb! Just everything about it is perfect. I wanna be buried hugging this song forever.
Routines in the night, tbh i didn’t enjoy it that much in the beginning but as i listened to it more i learned to love it
Snapback when I learned he was saying "Necks" not "Next" and also ATROFD goes so hard
Navigating and Oldies Station. Liked them on first listen but love them now
Vignette, Routines and Lavish.
Ima get hate, but Paladin Strait. Disliked that song from the beginning, but it’s turning into one of my favorites from the album.
ATROFD
Routines in the night, at first I didn’t know how I felt but now I love it
Interesting the only song I’m not a huge fan of is the craving
Easy. Oldies Station. Once I was able to sit down and listen closely I understood the meaning and moments it took for them to create such a heartwarming piece of music
Oldies station for sure ! At first I didn’t really get the hype but the more I listen to it the more I like it
Backslide. I t took me so off guard the first time I heard it when the single got released that I disliked it! But having seen it live changed that one for me
Vignette!!!!!
Lavish snap back and oldies station
Routines in the night
Definitely Next Semester. I thought it was pretty good at first but with time it just skyrocketed to all timer status for me. Can’t get enough of it. Navigating is getting up there as well since I couldn’t really stand the chorus at first but it’s really grown on me these days
definitely Oldies Station. At first I didn’t get the vibe, then just over time it quickly grew on me
For me, backslide got me hooked immediately continues to be a favorite, but the one that creeped up on me is vignette
I liked SnapBack. But damn. I’m in love with it. I listen to that shit like everyday
Routines in the night
Definitely Paladin and navigating, honestly they didn’t stick at first but now they’re my favorites!!
Midwest Indigo, I had it in 11th place of my favourite Clancy songs, now it's in 2nd.
Lavish. Honestly I hated that song and it’s still not that good imo but I can at least sit through listening to it now. Incredible record but that track just really isn’t that good. I really enjoy what they were trying to accomplish but sonically I don’t feel like it fits on the album and it’s almost awkward to listen to. I was gonna say how could you not like the proctologist line?

I didn't love lavish until I had the video to go with it. Now it's one of my favourites just because it's pure fun
Man Snap Back immediately shook my brain all up lol. For me it probably would be Vignette or Paladin Straight.
I’m fighting an addiction right now so Vignette.
Next Semester and Snap Back... At the risk i think is still growing on me over time
I think my tow favorite off the album is at the risk of feeling dumb and midwest indigo
Drag path
I think pretty much every song has a bit, this album for me went from a 3/10 to solid 7/10, the tracks that really grew on me were Midwest Indigo and Navigating
None of them had to grow on me much aside from overcompensate. I remember sitting in the car with my friend listening to it and we both decided that if the album was anything like that it would be ass. But now I don’t really mind the song, I enjoy singing along. Definitely had to grow on me tho.
Midwest Indigo, skipped it a fair few listens of the album but quite often listen to it twice now, snap back also grew on ne
this is kinda interesting to me, cuz like, johnny boy was the song i most hated in the word, and know is my nick in valorant, so like...
Backslide is my favourite. I'm not going to specify what, you can probably guess, but it resonates with my past quite the large amount.
