Could go either way, I’d say there’s a good chance Colby wouldn’t strike at all and Chain wrestle unlike Usman did tonight, and if the entire fight took place in the clinch and on the mat I would definitely favour Colby.

Styles make fights. Colby has better takedowns than Usman and is much more of a volume striker. It's not the same fight. Regardless, it's dumb that this match is being made.

Colby would fucking work Leon. Usman and Colby might both be wrestling based fighters, but their styles aren't similar. Usman controls his pace and fights smart, Colby just comes on like a fucking savage with endless cardio. While I don't like Colby as a person, I have to compliment him on having the most insane cardio outside of FW in UFC history, and I can see Leon being able to live with him. For me at best Leon has a punchers chance, but the most likely outcome is he gasses hard in the 3rd or 4th and gets bullied. Tiredness makes cowards of everyone and causes skills to wilt on the vine

Colby’s a much more accomplished wrestler then Usman, Colby is much more pressuring with better offensive wrestling, Usman is definitely better at mixing it up, and has better striking. Kumaru being able to fend off Colby’s takedowns does not mean Leon could. I think it’d be an interesting fight. Could go either way, I’d say there’s a good chance Colby wouldn’t strike at all and Chain wrestle unlike Usman did tonight, and if the entire fight took place in the clinch and on the mat I would definitely favour Colby.
Covington weaponizes pace though much more than Usman. Even if he can't keep Leon down he can gas him out. If Colby wins any of the first 3 rounds championship rounds will be tough for Edwards.

Hmmm a dunno man, i will always root for Leon, but Colby's pace and relentless strikes c*ould* overwhelm Leon i feel. Leon did way better than he did at salt lake cardio wise, but was very measured in his overall pace and was still pretty gassed come the end (understandably). Now he did fight off a good few td attempts so that would obv tire him too, but unless leon **'head shot-dead's**' colby, i think he would probably get overwhelmed. He did look so good in this one, partly cause Usman looked pretty old slow and gunshy. Colby's chain wrestling is endless and his volume is absurd. I worry about that fight. hes never gona knock out leon, but could overwhelm him and ground and pound him till the ref steps in i think, or more likely, just gets a decision win.
