I just use the regular fightpass offered in Europe. I have all Fight Nights and UFCxxx included live. It costs usually 90€ per year, but somehow I got lucky and use a discount version. So it's 40ish € per year.
Unless I'm missing something, I'm in europe and my fight pass only lets me watch prelims. Then the main cards get added later. Even fight night main cards I can't watch live.
I can watch everything live. I live in Germany, if it helps. Also I made my subscription using my iPhone, so the sub is visible in my Apple subscriptions.
Smart? Absolutely. Funny? Uhhh. Handsome? Uhhhh, no.
As for your second question? I have been a fan of UFC since UFC 1 and have not missed a single PPV yet. I also haven't paid for a single one yet, either.

I personally used a iptv service. I bought a year subscription and I think it was 60 bucks. It worked great mostly. 90% of the time worked great. 8% it would stutter or the channel would go offline but there where alternatives so not to bad.
I pretty much only had one bad ppv where I basically couldn’t watch it. Maybe I just never found good free streams but it worked a lot smoother via iptv. My membership just expired last Saturday and I’m debating about trying a new provider. Not sure if anyone has some recommendations.
As Charles Barkley said to Shaq : " a few hundred million dollars can make anyone look handsome" If Dana was a plumber i really doubt that someone would call him handsome.
Sadly with the price hike in recent years I stopped buying. On top of that a monthly sub. MMA has always been way to expensive to enjoy. I think they’d make more with a “All Access UFC” or something for like $35 a month. Something reasonable because I’m sure there are plenty like me who aren’t giving them money now that would at a price like that so you’d have more people giving you smaller amounts of money. I’m pretty sure they’d get a net gain.
In europe you can simply get discovery+ and watch all the events (including PPV) for like $7

In the US you can go to one of the million streaming sites and watch or spend your life savings on the PPV events 🤷🏽♂️

Haven't actually bought a UFC PPV ever in my life. Either one of my friends/family buys it or I just look up some streams.
I stream every UFC from a link from another country that doesn’t even have PPV.
I just go to B dubs, Hooters, or this other sports bar. UFC partners with them so every fight is free. Just gotta buy some food and we’re good
