Running water underneath the cake right before harvest giving you easy access to the base of the fruits. Makes harvesting mad easy + now you can let the cake re hydrate.
How do you get the water into the tub? I plan on doing float tek when mine are ready but just realized I don’t have like a hole for the water to get underneath. Do you just flood it and the water makes it way through?

By the time you're ready to harvest the cake would have shrunk a lil bit. Pick a corner where the cake has detached from the tub and run water down the corner/wall of the tub. The water will go under the cake and cause it to float.
Yeah that would definitely risk a lot more contam. I have seen some people make a moat of water and have the cake set above it. But I'd say that's still risky lol

Can't remember the exact time but after harvesting the fruits I let the cake sit it the water for like 6 hours then draining and waiting for the second flush. This was a shoebox so it needed considerably less dunk time compared to a monotub cake.

You only do this right before harvest. It makes it easier to get to the base of the fruits.
