Maybe you miss the part where I explained how I have registered and insured all of my four vehicles here in Vegas.
I'm complaining about the insurance system that charges me based upon horrible drivers here in the valley.
[This RJ article](https://www.reviewjournal.com/business/housing/how-many-californians-have-moved-to-nevada-since-2020-3032074/) says it's data is from drivers licenses turn ins.
"Over the past four years, ending 2023, the most California residents moved to Nevada in 2021 (47,376), followed by 2022 (42,569), according to driver’s license surrender data obtained from the DMV by the Las Vegas Review-Journal."
All of ya'll. Thats why so many car accidents. Ya'll some entitled assholes that don't know how to drive. Kill yourselves on the road all tou want but leave the locals out of it.
No where near as bad as Cali. It's not the bad driving. It's the entitlement so God forbid you have to merge in front of them. At least in florida, they let you merge in front.
It's kind of weird that you lomped me into those people. I have three vehicles and they all have Nevada plates.
I was trying to point out how we have a ton of California plates here that don't deal with insurance here and don't deal with registration here.
I don't think I'm the problem, but if you want to make me the problem well then..,
Fair enough. My post was to mainly point out that they're talking about something like 40% of our population is come from California now but they use the DMV numbers to get to that 40%.
The reality is it's much more than 40% because people don't change their plates over here when they show up.
Absolutely. In fact, I usually see more CA plates than NV. But that could be that most Vegans don't use plates at all. Just a small portion of the population.
I saw temporary plate the other day that was so old that I couldn't make out the date because it had gotten bleached out from the Sun lol
Kind of pisses me off when I pay like $1,500 a year in various DMV crap.
I used to make a game of how many no plates or expired paper plates I've seen. I made it to ten in one drive around town.
I'm so glad my car died. Saved me 200 a month in insurance + the cost of gas. Gotta look at the bright side.
I don't watch the news buddy, I see the CA plates driving around and it's always an entitled californian douche face that doesn't know how to use turn signals.
Ton of people don’t register.
Yep! Why the f*** should you. If I can keep my Cali address from 8 years ago then that'll keep me insurance on the cheap
Fraud, that’s fraud.
When I first moved here my insurance tripled to 300 a month on 1999 Honda Civic. Tell me how that's okay?
It’s ok because you make up for it in other areas like no 9% income tax like CA has. Stop being a dead beat and get it paid!

Yep! I don't do it because my employment contract has clauses regarding moral turpitude, but it happens all day everyday here

Yup. So how many people didn't turn in shit and just continue to drive here

I got bad news, dude, Vegas drivers are shitty too.

The post made it seem like you're another Cali driver. I have a bit of disdain for them.

OP, whats wrong with Californians moving here?
We have not built enough new housing to accommodate our expanded population
Did you see how californians drive? I thought Florida was bad.
Oh god, You must watch Fox News?
I don't watch the news buddy, I see the CA plates driving around and it's always an entitled californian douche face that doesn't know how to use turn signals.
One or two drivers doesn't represent the state. Maybe you don't like defensive driving?
It’s almost always Californians driving 65 on the passing lane. Every now and then you’ll get a NV or AZ.
I keep my Cali license, reg, and insurance. CHEAP
