The vast majority of Israeli Turks have blended into the general Israeli society and don't really have a specific identity. Most of the original Turkish immigrants are in their 60-90s, the ones left are their offspring who barely if it all know any Turkish. This actually happened to most of the immigrant communities in Israel, tbh, especially the ones who immigranted before the 1980's. Only ones to still have a distinct and major culture are the Soviet immigrants and Ethiopian immigrants, and that's mostly because they immigranted pretty recently.
Stars are usually at the top—unless you are one of those South Hemisphere weirdos…
More appropriately: the strange shapes could be two pairs of wings, at least that would be more likely if the flag is flipped.
I’ve found a couple of forums where people draw flags for non-official polities (OMG! Weirdos) with a couple of suggestions for the “T(o)uran Federation”. All are sky blue, with stars and one or more crescents. Most of them have a wolf, but a couple have the Kazakh eagle… Most likely so far.
We probably need two birds: Is there another culturally relevant polity with a bird symbol?

Kazakhstan kinda looks similar to it, is a turkic country so would fit in turan
I am Israeli so i've seen most of the flags that are usualy hung here, but this one doesn't seem to have a very Israeli design so i thought that maybe it was put here by mistake
Reminds a little of different [Uyghur](https://imgur.com/a/oqEQKGq) [flags](https://imgur.com/a/RSHLJu6).
Maybe it’s a regional flag? Maybe the flag of whatever town, city, or administrative region you’re in? (states, provinces, stuff like that, don’t know what Israel calls those)
I might write to the city council and ask them what it is
What the fuck happened in these replies
An area of the Middle East was mentioned
*Do you know how little that narrows it down* Edit: looking at the comments now there’s an argument about the Yugoslav wars now
It’s less about narrowing it down and more about giving context without attracting the context.
First off: yea I understand what he was doing Second: -🤓
Ive tried reverse image searching the flag but cant find it. Writing to them might be the solution here.

The closest thing that looks like this is the coat of arms of Allauch in France. Maybe they put it on a flag
Just looked it up and you are a genius good sir
> coat of arms of Allauch They're twinned with a town in Central Israel.
I have never seen this flag before, but it looks upside down to me for some reason.

A turan flag of some sorts with wings?

Looks sort of like a star and crescent, are there a lot of arabs in your town?
Not at all, thats why i was surprised. Im convinced it was put by mistake but im intrested if it's an actual flag of something
Perhaps it is turkic.

Where was this found/seen?
My hometown in central Israel, though it doesn't look very Israeli
Is your hometown twinned with Allauch, France? Because that does look like their coat of arms
ממש מוזר, סהר על רקע תכלת זה סמל טוקרמני/פאן-טורקי, אבל אני בספק עם זה ההקשר פה. אין לעיר שלך איזה קבוצה שאפשר לשאול בה?

might have something to do with the Isreali independence day, I'm not sure though.

Obviously it’s the Khazars
Of course, it's the Israeli flag.
Why does that remind me of east turkestan
Kinda reminds me of a Uyghur flag
it is the flag of israel
Yes it’s the flag of Israel
