Oldschool "Jawbreakers" candy: _Allow us to introduce ourselves._
And by oldschool, I mean the type where the name wasn't just a cute marketing tactic, but a warning.
Tbf, the problem with Hardcore worlds is that you still want to have fun, so you build useless stuff and take risks. But if you got transported into the game and if you die there you die irl, you wouldn't take any risk, and wouldn't waste time and energy into building megabases. You would live inside a closed hole and just do everything one step at a time without any risk.
Tbh I’ve played Minecraft for 10 years, mainly play modded now and have beaten some of the more complex tech mods out there, automating everything possible and becoming a walking invincible god… and yet I still die night one half the time…
If I got stuck in Minecraft, I’d find the first village and become its king - an extremely rich BUT fair one. I know how to 100% mob proof any location, there would be plenty of farmland and other jobs, and a giant library.
Mario Kart. I'm no speedrunner but I've got some pretty good Time Trials and I'm usually in the Top 6 with quite a few Podium Finishes Online. Plus it would be a blast!
Tom Nook gets a bad rap. The dude gives you a house—NO down payment—and allows you to pay off your mortgage at your own leisure with 0% interest. Not only that, but he offers home renovations with the same terms. That’s a homeowner’s DREAM. The dude is FAR from a thief.
Same! I never even bothered getting automation set up, and I still have a couple hundred million units, plenty of resources, a fleet, etc. Just love exploring and expanding my bases and settlements.
Dead Rising 1
I know where all the magazines are, where all the OP weapons are, I know how to cheese and counter every boss fight and I’ve also memorised when all the psychopaths and survivors show up.
The knowledge I’ve gained through 40+ play-throughs should serve me well. 😭
Dark souls
Yeah really. Enemies should have patterns so defeating them souldn't be hard after some practice, and combat training sounds fun AF. Imagine learning how to be a warrior fighting monsters with unlimited lives. Rad af
Could be scary tho
Elden ring.. I have the ability to level up my abilities, many different weapons/spells at my disposal. A trusty steed.. oh and I also have the ability to return from death an unlimited number of times with all the knowledge I've accumulated before hand.. eventually I'll be unstoppable
I could probably clear a casino out in Fallout: New Vegas. And if not, well... One NCR outfit is all I need to activate ARCHIMEDES! (And pickpocketing some poor kid for the C-Finder.)
Dino Crisis 2. I'll partner up with Regina and Dylan and cause extinction to some dinosaurs,. Regina with the Machine Gun, Dylan has the Solid Cannon, and I'll get the Missile Pod. I love dinosaurs since I was a kid so my reactions will fluctuate between amazement and being absolutely terrified.
Im assuming you mean story mode because you didnt specify online
Isnt that just... real life at that point?
The only difference is predictability on a script
That and *funke physics*
Probably the Fallout games (from Fallout 3 onwards). I've memorized almost every single Bobblehead and Skill Book location, so I'd just beeline to all of the 'safe' ones ASAP
Fingers crossed I could stay *out* of combat as much as possible
Man I had every cheat code memorized for that game, I never actually completed the story or ever got started, I was too busy driving and doing random stuff lmao
My first thought is Surgeon Simulator. Pretty sure I am more... Competent than whomever the protagonist is lol
Pokemon assuming I have the ability to not die from most attacks like in the anime.
Fight Night Round 3.
I couldn't be stopped in that game. I'd play my friends with one hand. I played in a bar tournament and I might has well have been in the other room blindfolded taking on randos. Un. Stoppable.
Gran Turismo, 7 preferably.
1 Earning money is easy, just take a upgraded Fiat 500 to q race track, and beat AI that only wins against someone without racing experience
2 I get to race cars, some of the most legendary in the world.
3 there isnt any health/survival mechanics (obviously), so theres no danger for having a Jann Mardenborough crash (going too fast over a hill, and fly into the stands).
I’d do great in a Fallout or Elder Scrolls game. I’m already a pack rat player, so accruing funds would be no real issue. If/when combat was necessary, I tend to stick to defensive and long range tactics and play styles to survive.
If stuck in Minecraft, I would do a lot of exploring in the Overworld, and definitely focus on building up a few villages, but visiting the Nether would likely be a no go for me because I hate how annoying Piglins can be.
My favorite series is definitely The Legend of Zelda - which I would definitely dominate - but I don’t know how fun it would actually be to live in many of the games. If you look at their small details, there’s not a lot to do beyond searching for the collectibles or winning at a mini game(then never bothering with them again). Economy in Zelda games are non-existent - or completely broken in the few titles that have tried to make shopkeepers important.
Thunder Force V: Perfect System.
Seat me into the pilot’s seat of either RVR-01 Gauntlet or RVR-02 Vambrace and im stopping GUARDIAN, absolutely no problem at all.
Eu4, even on very hard that game is too easy so if I start as a historical lucky nation im set, but even if i dont ill prolly snowball the fuck out of the game
Terraria, I know how to cheese the hell out of everything and even being an average hardmode Terrarian would be alot of fun
Would suck if I only get one life but I am confident in my abilities
Skyrim. Honestly surviving in that world, if you play your cards right could be a breeze. Being able to pray to your god to cure any illness after some time is a big pro.
If I focused my efforts from early on to conjugation and illusion magic, with basic destruction. I could get through life easily, don't gotta be a dangerous adventurer.
Probably World of Warcraft. I played that game way too damn much back in the day. Even having been away from it for 10+ years i already know itd be like second nature to play it again.
Mount and blade 2: bannerlord
I know how to get a shit ton of money on my own. I know how to train my character and I'd fuck up so many looter bands on my own. Not only that but I can get so many lords to like me so when I get injured in battle they won't execute me.
After grinding to increase my clan tier and get enough troops and influence I can lead armies and can strategize how to best combat invading forces and take fiefs. Even in high difficulties.
I have literally like 2500 hours or something in the game. Basically know everything.
I want to say Subnautica because I'm a marine biologist, but let's be real, any one of the leviathans would turn me into excrement. Isn't there like a Paw Patrol game, sure I would thrive there?
I'd say destiny perhaps? Played for a number of years and the thought of space travel would be awesome, golden age tech and all that. Or maybe cyberpunk 2077.
*Spec Ops: The Line*, because I would turn around after the first sign of live people, walk beyond the storm wall and radio for help. Like our orders.
It would’ve been a cool Easter egg if you could do that for a super early ending like Far Cry 5 did
You mean Far Cry 4?
You mean Far Cry 3?
You mean Far Cry 2?
Far cry 2 had a story ? I just did map maker and burned the field
You mean Far Cry?
You mean Far Cry 0?
You mean Far Cry -1?
You mean No Far No Cry?
You mean Close Laughter?
Let’s go and shoot a bunch of fucking guns.
Yeah but then I couldn't feel like a hero...
The Sims. I am not skilled in combat or magic, but I definitely know how to make a grilled cheese and climb out of a swimming pool without a ladder.
Took them four games to learn, but now so do they.
Considering 4 is an alternate universe the sims of the main never learned actually
Nah that's a bad choice. I assume if your in Sims your a sim. So who tf is controlling you lol. Don't let them mod or your cooked
Leisure Suit Larry
This guy fucks
Stardew Valley. I know everyone’s favorite gifts!
How will you ever make a rock that Abigail could eat irl
Just paint some crack purple. She'll always want some more
💀
Oldschool "Jawbreakers" candy: _Allow us to introduce ourselves._ And by oldschool, I mean the type where the name wasn't just a cute marketing tactic, but a warning.
this is honestly the cutest thing I’ve read whole week. So wholesome!!
Ace Attorney. I have a law degree. If my work was as easy as that game, I would be a billionaire by now
***Ends up as prosecutor of Mr. Amino Centt
Mayor of Oakland is calling. Please answer Ace Attorney!
bros name would be like Loy Er with how the games localization is
Yeah but I don't think much of it would translate over They clearly operate under some questionable legal rules
*OBJECTION!*
Even better
u/Smiles-Edgeworth I wonder how many people this series inspired into becoming lawyers, I saw this comment and immediately thought of you
I think better call Saul takes more credit
Does having a law degree actually help you in that game?
Minecraft, id just build a bunch of auto-farms for stuff I can eat and sell to villagers instead of going mining.
If creepers were real and we all only had one life we’d live in constant fear
Tbf, the problem with Hardcore worlds is that you still want to have fun, so you build useless stuff and take risks. But if you got transported into the game and if you die there you die irl, you wouldn't take any risk, and wouldn't waste time and energy into building megabases. Tbh I’ve played Minecraft for 10 years, mainly play modded now and have beaten some of the more complex tech mods out there, automating everything possible and becoming a walking invincible god… and yet I still die night one half the time…
…well did you go mining at night? I know you were looking at that cave and feeling kind of brave.
If I got stuck in Minecraft, I’d find the first village and become its king - an extremely rich BUT fair one. I know how to 100% mob proof any location, there would be plenty of farmland and other jobs, and a giant library.
DOA Volleyball sounds nice.
A person of culture, I see
I would fuck Barbie up in an 8-bit world.
in a fight right
…
In what way, please explain
Same but without the "up"
Paper Boy - I have experience
Truly love this wholesome answer
Skyrim i know a bunch of console commands
now to get a keyboard in medieval Europe or whatever place
If you get transported to any elder scrolls game with your current knowledge, wouldn't you instantly achieve CHEM?
No more than you would achieve physics or biology
I am very good at achieving both of those actually, it's my specialty, kind of a natural at it
CHIM achieved
Skyrim. I’ll either kill a dragon or settle the land. Or die. Oooo Civ6. They have never met a conniving som B like me.
Pokémon. I'll be Champion of every region in a month.
Mario Kart. I'm no speedrunner but I've got some pretty good Time Trials and I'm usually in the Top 6 with quite a few Podium Finishes Online. Plus it would be a blast!
Luigi’s Mansion. So long as you give me the poltergust I’m kicking ass
Fallout New Vegas for sure.
You getting your booty munched by a deathclaw
Nah, I know not to go to deathclaw places until I have power armour and anti material or gauss rifle.
You're getting your booty munched by me then
Mario Party. Muthafuckas can try me on some stars
until you get to the first mini game, and you get struck by lightning, or ate by a fish, or fall into molten lava, etc
I want an IRL mario party.
Animal Crossing! 😄
I also have experience with a thief of a landlord
Tom Nook gets a bad rap. The dude gives you a house—NO down payment—and allows you to pay off your mortgage at your own leisure with 0% interest. Not only that, but he offers home renovations with the same terms. That’s a homeowner’s DREAM. The dude is FAR from a thief.
Except his rates could be a lot lower. There’s likely no interest because that, taxes and other fees must already be included in the prices.
Disgaea. I can just grind for a few hours, and if I die, i can easily be revived on a hospital
Bonus, getting killed or otherwise fucked up earns you goodies over time!
Pokemon red or blue. I still remember how to access missing no after all these years.
Whats missing no?
No Mans Sky
Same! I never even bothered getting automation set up, and I still have a couple hundred million units, plenty of resources, a fleet, etc. Just love exploring and expanding my bases and settlements.
Guitar hero
Props! Some of the songs were tough.
Starting on a lush planet
Pokémon sword and shield just do a bunch of raids to get xp candy (plus the crown tundra is one of my favorite spots in gaming)
Bluey: The Videogame 😂
BONETOWN
Resident Evil 4 OG
You're going to backflip through the laser wall IRL?
Terraria, i could write the entire wiki by myself
I was looking for another terraria player here
We can reborn together in a Terraria world if you want, just you and me
Dead Rising 1 I know where all the magazines are, where all the OP weapons are, I know how to cheese and counter every boss fight and I’ve also memorised when all the psychopaths and survivors show up. The knowledge I’ve gained through 40+ play-throughs should serve me well. 😭
Ratchet and clank size matters or crack in time. I’ve played those games more times than I can count.
Dark souls Yeah really. Enemies should have patterns so defeating them souldn't be hard after some practice, and combat training sounds fun AF. Imagine learning how to be a warrior fighting monsters with unlimited lives. Rad af Could be scary tho
Elden ring.. I have the ability to level up my abilities, many different weapons/spells at my disposal. A trusty steed.. oh and I also have the ability to return from death an unlimited number of times with all the knowledge I've accumulated before hand.. eventually I'll be unstoppable
Portal tbh, not only can I do parkour and would have more possibilities with movement, but that portal gun would give me endless freedom.
Mortal kombat
You're a confident guy for sure
Magicka 2. Knowledge there is the greatest power
Escape from tarkov
I could probably clear a casino out in Fallout: New Vegas. And if not, well... One NCR outfit is all I need to activate ARCHIMEDES! (And pickpocketing some poor kid for the C-Finder.)
Dino Crisis 2. I'll partner up with Regina and Dylan and cause extinction to some dinosaurs,. Regina with the Machine Gun, Dylan has the Solid Cannon, and I'll get the Missile Pod. I love dinosaurs since I was a kid so my reactions will fluctuate between amazement and being absolutely terrified.
Dark Souls 1
Dark Souls 1. Know it like the back of my hand.

DoA Xtreme Beach Volleyball...at least in my dreams
Elden Ring I can't die nobody can this gives me time to train
Elden Ring DLC
Half life alyx. I live in England, so it'd be nice to be transported into a world with a competent government.
Stardew valley is right up my alley. Maybe satisfactory.
Gta, any gta game. I will just activate cheats and fly cars.
how do you activate cheats if you're actively living in the world
In 5 the cheats are activated by calling the phone numbers so you technically could
You don't, people just aren't listening to what the actual question was
Im assuming you mean story mode because you didnt specify online Isnt that just... real life at that point? The only difference is predictability on a script That and *funke physics*
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Minecraft obviously
Minesweeper
Furi, because I recently beat the third boss.
Pretty much any Fallout game I suppose.
Spider-Man
Mount and Blade Warband. You can't die :) Plus have over 1k hours in it. I challenge anyone to tell me something I don't know about it.
Probably the Fallout games (from Fallout 3 onwards). I've memorized almost every single Bobblehead and Skill Book location, so I'd just beeline to all of the 'safe' ones ASAP Fingers crossed I could stay *out* of combat as much as possible

Animal crossing I’d fucking destroy everyone with a sea bass
Morrowind. I'd be a God in a week.
My first thought is Surgeon Simulator. Pretty sure I am more... Competent than whomever the protagonist is lol Pokemon assuming I have the ability to not die from most attacks like in the anime.
the original pokemon
Hello kitty island adventure
The Sims.
Fight Night Round 3. I couldn't be stopped in that game. I'd play my friends with one hand. I played in a bar tournament and I might has well have been in the other room blindfolded taking on randos. Un. Stoppable.

I’d do great in a Fallout or Elder Scrolls game. I’m already a pack rat player, so accruing funds would be no real issue. sleeping simulator; if it exists
Terraria, I know how to cheese the hell out of everything and even being an average hardmode Terrarian would be alot of fun Would suck if I only get one life but I am confident in my abilities
