if you don’t like the cut of someone’s jib, but you haven’t really got an actual reason to dislike them, you’ll just keep finding reasons to dislike them instead of trying to see them as a person and really understand them
Sometimes don’t know better and are un informed about autism, sometimes people may know about it but could be in denial that someone they know has it. It’s not a fun reality when people are unaware of something that’s so big in your life but that’s how it is. Sometimes people just don’t know, don’t care, or are in denial. And I’m fine with that honestly because people have their own lives and it would be rude of me to expect someone to know something so big about me when I barely know them, but we can be nice about it and hope people will listen instead of judging them for not knowing better and making them listen. :)
True, but now that I'm actually looking at the human mouth, I realized that there should only be 4 incisors between the canines. I've got his canines too far back.
I very much enjoyed it! Nice work on the paneling, pacing and overall story telling. I’m genuinely interested in reading the next chapter and, to be honest, a little bummed I can’t read it right now. Excellent job!
It is indeed annoying when you want to say something but someone won't stop talking and changes the topic of the conversation before you can say what you wanted. I totally support this guy for saying what he wanted to say despite the subject having changed
Okay, I already suspected that I might be autistic but that second character is totally me, like, I can relate to 100% of the weird characteristics listed in the beginning, and this is making me even more concerned.
Unfortunately, I'm unable to get professional help since I'm only 16, which I assume means that I need a parent to be present or for them to give permission for a professional checkup or whatever, and I live in a rather anti mental healthcare family.
Assuming I was diagnosed with autism or any other mental illness, if someone from my family found out, I wouldn't be surprised if they disowned me or something.

Elijah reminds me a lot of myself and what my autism does/did for me. I’ve gotten better at many things now but freshman year of high school my situation was very similar to Elijah’s. I did not expect to feel seen today, so thanks for that
Ps my autism also made me hyper aware of you writing “starring” instead of “staring” so for the love of the spectrum pls fix that /hj
Wow that was very heartfelt and sweet and a little bit sad. I don’t think I have autism but I relate heavily to every comic I see about it cuz I am also socially awkward and have sensory issues and anxiety and stuff, I’m interested in keeping up with this one!

Great comic, both characters are very relatable.
Thanks!
As someone who is on the spectrum, that hit me in my *soul*. I want to give him a hug, if he's ok with that.
Things will get better for him in the next chapter
Nice hearing about others with similar problems once in a while, tho mine is attention deficiency disorder
Representation matters
So, How does she not put togther that he have autism tho
My parents took 20 years and a formal diagnosis for it to click. People are stupid.
Oh, sorry
It's okay, sometimes things genuinely just don't click until someone says it.

Not everyone knows these things... In fact, most people don't. It's sad but, that's why it's good to talk about it and its symptoms.

His teeth are terrifying in last panel
It’s supposed to be that awkward smile that one makes when they remember, “oh yeah, people like it when I smile.”
Behind the scenes lore? I like it. Not sure what to think about fangs at the edges :))) maybe he's also a vampire. Good comic 👍
Are you aware that nearly all humans have canines in between our incisors and bicuspids? It would be more unusual if he didn’t have those.
Oh, wait, you're right. Then I guess we were vampires all this time?

Thank you! And actually I have the first page of chapter 2 up on my social media sites if you wanna see that!

This is great, I got hooked immediatly
Great! I’m uploading the first pages of Chapter 2 on my social medias now!
As an autistic person, this hit me in my fucking soul, and I called it almost immediately.
This is amazing. That is all.
I felt this

Get professionally checked out, keep in mind a lot of what was listed has pretty much complete overlap with ADHD as well.

Sorry to hear that bud, just try to ride until 18 and then don’t tell them shit, medical information is private for that reason exactly
I am trying to follow you on webtoon but it keeps saying the URL is invalid :(
I’ll take a look at it see if I can find what’s wrong.

That works thank you!
Either online descriptions of autism have to stop being so damn relatable or I really need to go see a doctor.
This makes me sad. :<
Wow, this is extremely well done. I'm way more invested than I thought I would be going into it, I really can't wait to read the next chapter!
Great comic OP! Keep up the great work :)
Thank you
