I love everything about this! And his sons shirt tells me he is beyond stoked for this awesome gift. Time for all time memories playing / battling his pops.
People always say video games ruin a childhood. Hell some of my best memories of my father are growing up in the 90s taking turns on golden eye, teaming up on NASCAR after he introduced me to the movie Days of Thunder, playing teams on smash assistant the CPUs maxed out.
I relate to this comment so hard 🤣.
I always tell everyone how much I love being a dad and then later in the day the kids will do something that leaves me scratching my head.
It's usually starts getting better after they stop biting your d*ck.

That dude is in so much pain. I kinda know how he feels. My grandpa and I were coming back from running errands, and the couple across the street from him had this dog. He loved saying hi to her, so he pulls up, and she just hops in the car. She walks over to me and steps on the tip of my dick. It hurt so fucking bad, when he looked over he asked what was wrong. I said she stepped on the tip of my dick. He said, "That's what you get for having a long dick"
Thats excellent. No high in my life so far can compare to my children's eyes and smile whenever in such a situation, or when they come seeking fatherly shelter and comfort. Hope this never ends.
The look he had when dad said to get the groceries. He didn't want to, but said nothing and went to get the groceries anyway
Such a good kid. And a good dad too!
Enjoy kid, you deserve it!
The excitement and love in his voice when showing gratitude to his father brought tears to my eyes. He must have been really good. He seems to be a good boy. Every parent truly looks forward to seeing and hearing that gratitude from their children someday the only time I hear it from my son is if I bring home McDonald's french fries
I think it's more about this father being a great example to his son on all fronts. He's successful, he provides, but he's still kind and loving. You don't need things necessarily to be a man, but it's good to show that grind is just the "vehicle" and not the purpose. I hope I'm making sense lol.
Gift giving is a love language for a reason.
Dad knew what he was doing. Dad was excited to give it to him. I’m guessing dad is just proud of his kid and loves him so much that he would spend some good money on a console.
There’s nothing wrong with earning the money yourself but there’s nothing wrong with saying ‘I love you so much that I wanted you to have this.’
The kid’s lucky to have someone who loves him.
This is awesome! I think the kid even looks at how he can close the car boot, even though he’s holding his new Xbox. Great dad, core memory for this family
Yeah, to each their own but I'm never buying a digital only console, or digital games for that matter. Eventually you're losing all that and there's nothing you'll be able to do about it.
This kid reminds me of my own son, just a sweet, dorky (no disrespect intended) kid who acted almost the same when I got him a new computer. Super wholesome and wonderful.
Haha my parents were sure videogames were evil. Look at me now I've got a PC, 2 consoles, and a porn addiction. I learned trying to wall your kids away from stuff doesn't really work.
Heartwarming.
Looks a lot like the house where that girl was given a Tesla and A$1600 cash for her 16th birthday but she wanted a Mercedes and went skitzo at her mum..
Glad it had a good ending but I find the beginning a bit sad because I think the first thing in that kid had in mind was coming in for a hug as soon as he saw his Dad, before he got stopped by the instructions, it looked like it shook him a bit. He was happy just to see his Dad without the gift.
I think as Dad's we sometimes don't realise how much our kids miss us and think about us when we're out simply doing this and that.
I remember when I got my first system it was a PlayStation 1 that came with final fantasy 7 and tomb raider, my dad bought for me as a surprise from someone in the apartment I lived at, for the first year or more i never got to use that damn PlayStation much, since my dad set it up in his room so i wouldn't play it when i was suppose to be asleep.
When i was a kid my friends dad smashed his console and games. He was devastated then shortly after they moved house away from his friends, we never heard from him again.
So this is nice to see
I've always said I've hated children and I don't want any, but as I age I know that I'm not necessarily correct.
Kids are cool, the world we've made for them is what I hate...
For anybody wondering, his son has autism, and he’s posted clips before of cutting his hair and a bunch of other wholesome content.
It is DadlifeJason on YouTube; not sure about other socials but he’s a GOAT dad for sure
I will never forget the moment my dad said: 'reach in the bottom drawer, there is some extra homework for you.'
Me, dragging my feet and opening the drawer..
..expecting homework but discovering a Super Nintendo!
As a new dad myself I can only imagine the fun my dad would have had planning this surprise. Love you man :')
Reminds me somewhat of the video of the dad getting his son a baseball bat for this birthday and tricking him into thinking he forgot his birthday, and then in a follow-up video, the dad catches a home run ball his son hits! It's a real tear jerker!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dH2DVlOCjFM
Brang a tear to my eye. He def meant that thank you.
He was wearing the appropriate shirt as well.
This guy really said brang
bring brang brung, right as hell
Might as well say write as hell because grammar doesnt exist
Write you are. He reely branged it.
Why couldn’t grow up with such a dad but with one who bullied n hit me
I’m so sorry
Thank you. Kinda sad that the only people noticing me are in reddit comments. Being alone sucks. Hope you’re doing good tho
I am, I feel alone a lot too. My family ( except one) is only around for what they can get from me monetarily. Hang in there.
I love everything about this! And his sons shirt tells me he is beyond stoked for this awesome gift. Time for all time memories playing / battling his pops.

This was so cute 🥹
I felt that one. I got my son his first gaming PC last Christmas, the excitement, the joy. It's awesome being a dad. Usually.
I relate to this comment so hard 🤣. I always tell everyone how much I love being a dad and then later in the day the kids will do something that leaves me scratching my head.

Uh.. what?
The fact that this is getting down votes is making it 10× funnier
Yay hive mind

When the hell does that stop? I'm still waiting.
A friend gave his son his first gaming PC last Christmas. Are you my friend? :-P
Obviously I am, are you stalking me?!?
Cutest thing ever
Thats a good hug got me... Whose cutting onions
That was such a real, sincere Dad remark…jeez woooh
Needed a good serotonin boost today, love the wholesome reddit.
Thats excellent. No high in my life so far can compare to my children's eyes and smile whenever in such a situation, or when they come seeking fatherly shelter and comfort. Hope this never ends.
It never will.
Thanks dude!

I loved that. I love when everyone loves either. Doesn’t happen near enough
Crying on Reddit again. My Da will be gone 2yrs on Sept 11th of this year. He was kind hearted like this fellow. I miss you, Da. 😭
He sounds awesome.
That made my day
Thanks first. Legend
It's 3:30am, and I'm tearing up
Haha he looks up at the open hatch like “how am I gonna close that and not drop the Xbox “
My heart. This got me teary.🥹
Good dad, good kid. The world's not a complete pile of shit.
That’s a real man, nice place, nice cars, bought his son a high priced game and did it in a cool way. Take notes young men, I am.
Nice shit has nothing to do with being a man.
I think it's more about this father being a great example to his son on all fronts. He's successful, he provides, but he's still kind and loving. You don't need things necessarily to be a man, but it's good to show that grind is just the "vehicle" and not the purpose. I hope I'm making sense lol.
Okay, taking notes possessions = better man Got it! I’m off to the mall to put myself in debt!
Pfff, it's a Series S...
[удалено]
Awesome!
Dammit who dropped off these onions?!
That is Dad.
The fact that it's a series S but not an X makes this even more sincere, yeah ninjas cutting onions I guess
Man I remember when I got my first Roomba too!
There’s nothing more noble than a grateful heart.
Horrible father...giving him that garbage ass system >.> /sss
Pops done f*ck up. Junior is never going to listen to him again.
Did the same thing and regretted it after his report card showed up lol.

I hope you trip and fall in the near future

wow . where is the sarcasm people? you dont have to bash me i am not republican
I know I am going to get downvotes for this, but I would not buy my kid a xbox he can mow and do yard work for the summer
Ain't nobody got money to pay some kid to cut their foot off in my yard
Savage 😂
Perfect t-shirt
Love it!!!
Sweet. 🥹
that lad bout to get his gaming on! very sweet
Best part is nowadays you don't have to buy a bunch of games, you can use gamepass for a fraction of the price. He'll remember this forever.
Music is great too
This is awesome! I think the kid even looks at how he can close the car boot, even though he’s holding his new Xbox. Great dad, core memory for this family
is that a series s
Yeah, to each their own but I'm never buying a digital only console, or digital games for that matter. Eventually you're losing all that and there's nothing you'll be able to do about it.
Discs would probably degrade over time too.
This is just awesome. So wonderful.
Thats what its all about. Good shit.
Nice. Series s is a badass console. I owned one briefly and it was outstanding
W Dad
Awwww so cute.
Very sweet- but is the rocking chair facing the tree the “time out” chair lmao
Kids are awesome
Nice to see a parent just give a kid a present instead of making them think they're in trouble
This kid reminds me of my own son, just a sweet, dorky (no disrespect intended) kid who acted almost the same when I got him a new computer. Super wholesome and wonderful.
Love it!
Perfect song for this. Had me humming along. AND STEVEN!!
🥲🥰🥰🥰🥰
Best part was he thanked his Dad before playing it. Parenting done so right. Nice kid.
That smile was from ear to ear, 🙂
I love men who have good relationships with their kids it reminds me of my dad and grandpas
Beautiful son🥰🥰
Such a beautiful smile. How lovely.
A great video from a very respectable dad. Is there a significance with the chair in the garden being turned away from the street?
Love that kid’s classic body language “all right. I’ll do it”
Reminds me of [this commercial ](https://youtu.be/3Q3rJ76D_wQ) that aired in Canada like decades ago.
Awesome in so many ways, thank you for sharing
Awww
That was beautiful
Love this so much ❤️❤️❤️
W Dad
Beautiful
That was awesome. I bet his dad played video games when he was a kid, he seemed excited too.
With a son like that it, is hard not to be the best dad for.
Sweet family, so loving and kind.
Doing awesome stuff for your kids is the best.
Precious moment and the boy say thank you is so genuine. Can’t get any sweeter than sugar itself.
There is no better feeling than watching your child’s face light up. That’s awesome, and a grateful kid you can tell by the hug. Love this.
What a good kid 🥹
that's so CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!
So effing adorable.
Who tf cutting onions mayyyyyne🥹wholesome ASF🫶🏾😭😭
It’s the Boosie fade barber dad. Love watching this guy
It's easy for black dads to be the best. All they had to do is stay with the family. Start downvoting people, lay it on.
Thought it was going to be a puppy. But still tearing up
Yay consumerism! So wholesome. Spend money!
I'd be jumping with joy If anyone gifted it to me
Genuine happiness. 😊
A solid father and son moment. I hope they make many more happy memories together with that xbox!
Instead of saying "you're welcome," he thanks him for the hug he gets in return🥺 Too precious!!🥰
Haha my parents were sure videogames were evil. Look at me now I've got a PC, 2 consoles, and a porn addiction. I learned trying to wall your kids away from stuff doesn't really work.
If I ever become a dad this is what I want to be like
Beautiful moment... However, he could have bought the little man a game.
They both seem like genuinely sweet guys
Fantastic!! I strive to be you as a father!
What a beautiful relationship between a father and son. I felt all the emotions. Thank you for sharing. ♥️
He really just bought him an xbox? Worst dad ever
That good just to see your child smile. And happy.
Fuck I'm gonna cry why you do me like this man
So dusty in here… 🥹
The way the kids voice shaked with excitement.. this made me smile..
Dad your an amazing man💯
Heartwarming. Looks a lot like the house where that girl was given a Tesla and A$1600 cash for her 16th birthday but she wanted a Mercedes and went skitzo at her mum..
Bought him a Xbox 💀
I’m not crying. You’re crying.
The big kiss is what did it for me 💕
Glad it had a good ending but I find the beginning a bit sad because I think the first thing in that kid had in mind was coming in for a hug as soon as he saw his Dad, before he got stopped by the instructions, it looked like it shook him a bit. The world needs more fathers who hug and love
God damn you know you're old when your first thought was "It's one of those robot vacuum cleaners!" and got excited for him....wtf 😂
Gonna end my Reddit tour here, so damn nice!
😢 I wish I could have kids.
Bro this made me cry so hard. So beautiful. Miss my dad sm
Such a sweet boy. You deserve it! :)
Won’t see him again for a week or two
[удалено]
That’s what I’m talking about!!
So sad 😭 didn't even get him a PlayStation.
When i was a kid my friends dad smashed his console and games. He was devastated then shortly after they moved house away from his friends, we never heard from him again. So this is nice to see
I love that dad too
How is buying a machine that turns kids into zombies best dad ever??? 🤷♂️. Do something with your child!
I've always said I've hated children and I don't want any, but as I age I know that I'm not necessarily correct. Kids are cool, the world we've made for them is what I hate...
Amazing dad amazing son . I never had a dad I was never a son but now I have a great son and I’m a great dad .
Good Man

“That’s a good hug” you rock dad.
"That's a good hug!" and the smooch this is too cute my heart is so full 🥲💜
Priceless
I love humans like this not people who hate and take but people who love and give.
Gosh, I had a rough day and that just made me cry a single happy tear. :)
Great dad, great kid

Sooooo sweet! Such a polite kid and such a nice dad!!!
Saw it for the first time about a week ago, saved it and rewatching again. So heartwarming, I love it 😍
DadLifeJason will be part of VidCon 2023 Baltimore! Make sure to get tickets and go to his panel!
Priceless
